Guardian wasn’t expecting a hug, but he accepted it and carefully hugged back, trying to not hurt Asriel accidentally with his spear. “No need to be sorry, Asriel, and uhm… I don’t really know what to do here. Have any suggestions?”
“Hmm…” Guardian patted Asriel’s back a few time before letting go of the hug. “What about a nice, simple stroll?” he suggested. “That always helps ease my nerves.”
Guardian returned the smile -- a genuine one this time. He started to walk off in a direction towards wherever the heck they were. He looked at Asriel and asked, “Where are we, exactly?”

Guardian appeared in the timeline out of nowhere, a blue glow bursting out as he did. He shook his head with his eyes shut, his hands on his left temple. A few seconds later, he opened them and blinked a few times. It was his first time traveling with his stone, and it felt... weird. Since this was new territory to him, he had his armor and weapon with him. He started wondering around, holding his spear, until something caught his interest. (@goatguardian)
Asriel was concerned for a minute, but decided to talk to them and see if they were okay “Howdy mister! you okay?” Asriel hoped nothing bad had happened to them
Guardian turned and saw the other boss monster. He was happy that the first monster he met was another Asriel. “Ah, greetings, your majesty.” He knelt down for a few seconds and looked at him with a smile. He may have been a different Asriel, but he still wanted to show respect to the prince.
Asriel had been so used to hanging out with Frisk and Chara that he wasnt much used to being called your majesty anymore, as he hadnt been used to it, it took him a bit to actually respond “o-o-oh, h-h-howdy” he greeted cheerfully
Guardian snickered. It seemed this Asriel also didn’t prefer to be called majesty. “Yes, greetings. I can tell that you don’t want to be called that. I’ll just refer to you by your name. Is that alright with you, Asriel?”
“Y-yeah, t-that would b-be nice,” Asriel started to softly smile, enjoying their first meeting, “s-so, w-who are you?” Asriel scratched his ears, “I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before” Asriel then thought some more, “Then again, I barely know any other monsters”
“You can simply call me Guardian,” he responded. Even to the prince of all monsters, he didn’t want to reveal his name. “I, uh… come from afar is way to put it.” he didn’t really know how to properly explain his arrival here.
“oh? why just Guardien? thats a pretty uncreative name,” Asriel then realized he was one to talk, his name was litterally both his parents combined, “n-never mind”
“I…” Guardian sighed. “I just prefer it over my actual name…” he frowned a bit, suddenly becoming upset. He shook his head in an attempt to not let the memories get to him.
(Sorry for forgetting) “o-oh geez, d-did I bring back some bad memories?” Asriel knew all too well about bad memories all too well from his own as flowey, “S-sorry”
Guardian looked at Asriel and forced himself to smile a bit. “I-it’s fine...” he said, even thought it definitely wasn’t. “I just... had a troubled past. That’s all.” he rubbed one of his eyes before he could shed tears.

Guardian was guarding one of the sides of the village. It was just another regular day of watching, but he noticed something… unusual. Far in the distance, he noticed a strange, pulsing blue glow coming out of a cave. He told his fellow monsters to take his place for a few moments while he investigate.
As he was nearing the cave, he gripped his spear tightly in case it was a threat of some sorts. He cautiously entered the cavern. He observed the place; it wasn’t too large, but he noticed the glowing was coming from… a stone. A small, cyan stone to be precise. He was perplexed by this. ‘Why is the stone giving off a blue glow? Is it something special?’ those were the thoughts on his mind.
He approached the stone and picked it up. He examined it – it almost looked like a gemstone. It was smaller than his paws, and it had a symbol on it. It sort of looked like a clock or an object similar to it.
He left the cave seeing as nothing else caught his interest. While walking, he was just holding the stone, and its symbol started glowing. It blinked faster, and it gave off a large pulse. He at first didn't know what that meant, but as he looked at the nearby trees, the falling leaves just... stopped. In fact, everything around him went to a complete halt! This turned his mind upside down as he had no idea on what was occurring. The stone started blinking again and released the same pulse as earlier. This caused everything to go back to normal. He blinked a few times before he continued his walk as if nothing happened.
As he arrived at the village, his fellow monsters questioned about the mysterious stone.
“I’m... not entirely sure what this is, to be honest. Call me crazy, but I think this stone can control time,” Guardian explained as he looked at the stone. “I’ll go check my books for something like this. Hopefully it’s in there somewhere.”
He went back to his abode and immediately picked a book from a shelf -- a book about many different artifacts and precious gemstones, including the precious amulet he protects. He scanned every page, and after hours or searching, he finally found it.
Stone of Chronos
A small, cyan stone that’s small enough to fit in your hands and pockets. It is believed to have the ability to control time and allow its user to travel dimensions through space and time. It’s also rumored to bring people back to life by reversing time. Its marking may have a connection to its power.
Many have seen the stone, but they reported it vanished before they could get a hold of it. Writings say, “He who has control of the stone has control of time itself.”
Its origin is unknown, but it is said to have come from ancient and mysterious beings from Monsterkind.
After reading this entry, Guardian realized it’s another treasure that he needed to protect, but he couldn’t store it in the temple. It was specifically built for only the amulet to protect. He contemplated about it and decided to keep it for himself. He felt selfish, but it was probably for the best, right?
A goat monster in armor wakes up in a bed of flowers. He got up with his spear and looked around, confused. He had no idea where or how he got here. "T-this isn't the temple. This isn't the village, also. Where am I?" (@goatguardian)
Asriel heard whoever was talking. He made his way into the room. “Oh… you’ve fallen, haven’t you?” He asked. @goatguardian
“They’re super nice!” Asriel said. “They treat everyone nicely, and care about everyone, and everybody loves them!”
“Mom and Dad are usually busy, though.” Chara added.
Asriel pressed the elevator call button, and the doors slid open. The two children got in, and started humming again. It was the same song they had hummed before.
“Hmm… They remind me of my parents…” Guardian said and sighed. He got in the elevator and was pleased to hear their humming again. It was the perfect music to listen to while waiting to arrive at their floor.
The children continued humming as the elevator made its way to the Capital. After a short while, it arrived and the two stepped out, and started on their way home.
The Guardian thought what he would do after arriving and meeting the king and queen. Suddenly, something popped up in his mind. He stopped walking. “I… just realized something…”
“How? Starting near Mt. Ebott, it took almost a month through a forest to get to the location of the village. Plus, this isn’t even my ‘universe’...,” Guardian said and sighed.
