when andrea was a kid, she had dreamed of one day moving back to this town, with her husband and kids, raising them in the town that she loved. now, looking back on that, andrea realizes that the town she loved was not the same. not without her sister, and not without the person that left when her sister did as well. she was reminded of michelle every day, but it was amplified when she came back to the town where they had all of their memories. sitting in her home, where she used to feel safest, didn’t feel like much of a home. it felt like more of a memorial to the person she used to be and the family that they used to be. no matter how many times they tried to polish the silver and dust off the furniture, it wasn’t the same. seeing charlie wasn’t something that andrea had expected. they hadn’t seen each other in so long, and andrea had planned to keep it that way. she had enough memories reminding her of the person she used to be, and now there was a reminder of the person she used to love and the person who used to love the person she used to be. “thanks,” she said, softly, giving him a small smile. “you look good too. and yeah, they usually come visit me but they’ve been on my case about me visiting them here.”
the person he’s seen as today, all his debts were owed to his parents. the house he had grown up in, no matter the circumstances or hardships, the love was constant and ever present. whilst he’d visit his mother more often under the ruse of a good meal’s offer, the truth couldn’t have been more clear-cut. high school had been his golden days, days often missed when he’d be having a down moment, yet dreaming about those times often made him reminisce about the never-ending hours spent by her side, only to be cut off out of nowhere. as much as the breakup should have been expected, he realised how blind his own feelings left him back then. “i know.” his hair was longer, better taken care of despite the less amounts of products used to keep it in place, his muscles had hardened with time and exercise but other than that, he hadn’t changed much, at least not physically. “it’s only right, i suppose. did your parents turn your old bedroom upside down, too? because mine is currently an art gallery... except no one visits it except my mum.” he smiles, allowing his features to lighten up, optimistically along with the awkwardness lingering in the air.
ssunveins:
“it’s not a fake promise! i’m getting sick of you not believing me. and honestly… you’re right. you guys can’t have that much fun without me, it’s not allowed. if anything, i’d make a damn good cheerleader,” she chuckles, her signature smirk soon settling across her features. she never wanted to miss out on the fun, regardless of what it was –– being comfortable with feeling left out was something she had never been good at, and it got her into a lot of trouble over the years. “do i? that’s sweet, but i know somedays you probably wanna kick my moody, sleep deprived ass.” she eyes him carefully then, interested in his reaction. every day came with a its own set of challenges, whether it be with charlie or with her own body, fighting to return back to some sort of normal. it couldn’t have been easy, but he never made her feel like a burden, for any of it. “you haven’t, but i know you love to make me suffer, so i don’t put anything past you…” a raised brow follows, soon mirroring his chuckle. “i know, just trying to keep the spark alive,” she follows her words with a wink, soon pausing to order their dessert as the waiter walked by, handing him the menus. “fine, maybe instead of dancing, we should just go for a walk, then –– i can bring my dessert along, and the more i walk, the more room i’ll have to eat. sounds perfect.” she seemed incredibly content with that plan, flashing him a toothy grin. “you never had a problem getting me to fall in love with you either, dumbass. you did that without knowing.” she rolls her eyes, noticing his not-so-subtle quip yet she remained quiet, although she sent a knowing glance in his direction. “you’re not? hm, funny. but you’re super big on me, so that doesn’t make any sense,” she teases, attention falling on the waiter as the dessert and the check were dropped off at the table. “you ready?”
“i’m getting sick of listening to your endless lies, yet here we are. yeah, yeah, i know. our very own personal cheerleader? cute... except you can’t cheer on a sport when you don’t understand the rules, babe.” he smirks. another passion of his, one not shared with her all that often, however he did appreciate when she came to see him play despite her obvious disinterest for the whole sport. “huh, wrong. because, i’d never kick a woman — and before you say anything, when i’m sleeping that does not count!” in his defence, those things were general knowledge between his friends, yet due to the fact that she’d never take him up on one of his weekend hikes, she didn’t have the need to deal with his night adventures before they started dating and truly sharing a bed with one another: the fact that he speaks in his sleep was always one of the reasons why he hated holding on to big secrets. “counteroffer: we walk, but we leave the dessert in the car, because i know i’m the one that will end up carrying it.” he chuckles. “yeah? well — i guess so. but i did have to keep you in love with me somehow. a bunch of dudes popped out of nowhere when we started dating for real for some reason.” his recollection of the memories were followed by a frown increasing on his features, hints of jealousy creeping in, a fact which would probably never leave completely. “you? sweet? how cute.” he teases back, sticking his tongue out at her, yet his attention returns to the waiter when both the dessert and his credit card were placed on the table. “let’s go. i need to walk this off or else i don’t know if i’ll be able to drive properly.” he says jokingly, putting on his jacket in a swift motion before moving to exit the restaurant.
ssunveins:
at that point, soleil felt too upset to formulate coherent sentences, only listening to him speak, frown sinking deeper and deeper into her features and tears falling faster. her flair for the dramatic got her ahead at her job, but in everyday life, she was beginning to see how it could quickly get out of hand. this wasn’t a play –– this was her real life. always living in a world of make believe, she had trouble distinguishing between the two. “i’m not unhappy with everything –– i just want more time with you,” she sniffles, unable to control the sob that escaped her throat. she breathes a shaky sigh, sensing there was no way to make the situation better right then and there. as much as she wanted to fix it, both of them seemed to be at an impasse. tucking a strand of honey blonde hair behind her ear, her eyes remain settled on the floor, elbow reaching up to wipe at her eyes. “no, this is your place –– i’ll go. i’m sure i can find an empty couch to crash on.”
uncertainty had absolute control over their relationship as of the moment. the storm of feelings in his heart aside, every single part of him warned him how forgiving her right away would have much more severe consequences in the future. given his chaotic schedule, he has little to no time to waste around, and he’d rather recover by himself than to doubt her for the rest of their relationship. whether full recovery was possible, he’s unaware as much as she is. “don’t be ridiculous. i’ll be better off crashing somewhere closer to the hospital, anyway.” somewhere far away from any memories shared with her, otherwise he knew doubts would consume him whole. how could he not let it happen, after the scene he walked upon that evening? yet he wants to be reasonable, as much as possible. “i need to get some shut eye — unless you’ve something else to add?”

muse: tara ( read more about her here ! ) open to: m/f/nb. connections ideas: literally any kind of gang leader, mob boss, mc president, etc. based on: the eleventh bullet !
tension hung heavy in the air, a thick and suffocating feeling that seemed to weigh tara down with every step she took. working undercover had begun to take its toll on her with each passing day, the sleepless nights and overwhelming sense of dread that never seemed to fully dissipate reminding her that every second she spent immersed in the criminal underbelly, filled with outlaws and killers, was another second that her life could be cut short. the urge to look over her shoulder followed her everywhere she went. even when she was alone, tara still felt the need to lock her doors and keep her weapon close. she’d been so careful, so tedious. burying any hints at her true identity and working diligently to make those around her believe every pretty little lie that fell from her lips. she’d fought and won to earn their trust, her ability to shed her skin and become whatever the environment surrounding her called for coming in handy now, more than ever. she’d done things she wasn’t proud of to prove her so-called loyalty. things she’d have to wrestle with later, when she could go back to being herself — to being safe. tara believed she had it all figured out. that she had a firm grasp on the situation, until the rug had been violently ripped out from underneath her feet as whispers and rumors of a potential traitor in their midst created a stir within the syndicate’s ranks. a sinking feeling in her gut had begun to gnaw away at her the moment the news broke, taunting her relentlessly, giving the eyes upon her a now ominous feel. her heart crawled its way into her throat as she approached the door, every nerve in her body screaming and pleading with her not to take another step. tara placed her hand on the knob, an otherwise simple motion that took nearly all of her strength and concentration to complete. delicate features remained a stony, unreadable mask despite the storm of panic and doubt that brewed just beneath the surface. tara kept her chin up and shoulders squared, entering the room with every shred of faux confidence that she could manage to conjure. “hey,” she gave a slight nod, keeping her tone even and her breathing steady. “i was told you wanted to see me. said you needed to speak with me ‘bout somethin’ ?”
his story was nowhere near surprising, parents’s death at a young age causing his world to turn upside down, yet somewhere down the line, a saviour rescued him from the streets and put him to work. the transport of drugs, the occasional beating up as a solid warning, all the sort of things expected from somebody who has grown and matured under an upcoming mob boss’s careful eye. soon enough, salvatore found himself in the spot as the right hand, a multitude of responsibilities being placed upon his shoulders, responsibilities for which he fought and kept on fighting for. the world could be heavy upon one’s soul, yet the gore and bad deeds required to do business sometimes, none of those weighted on his conscience for far too long. rumours of a traitor among them, however, that was one thing that he couldn’t possibly let go. with such a big organisation, there were risks often taken and some people sometimes needed to be taught a lesson or two accordingly, but luckily, he never did mind getting his hands dirty, as much as he plays a bigger role from the background these days. a possible leak was the utmost urgent matter, even more so with the big projects going about lately. “come on in.” salvatore extends the invite, yet his chocolate hues remain upon the paperwork in front of him for a few more seconds, eventually refocusing all his attention to his company. despite the warm, yet small smile seen shortly upon his features, no acquaintance would be foolish enough to assume his facade was genuine. “yes. well, i’m sure you heard the news.” he begins and pauses shortly, body resting back onto the chair comfortably as he indicates with a small gesture that she should take a seat before him. “thoughts?”
hello give me celeb fuck buddies that everyone ships and one of them is in love with the other and the other refuses to admit they have feelings too !!!

open to: f/m/nb connection: ex who andrea broke up with in high school who she’s seeing now for the first time
andrea hated being in her hometown. there were so many memories that were tied up here and every time she came back to visit her parents, she was reminded of them. even the good memories were painful, because they were just reminders of what she didn’t have anymore – soccer, her sister, wholeness, inner peace. as much as she loved her parents, she couldn’t stand being in the house that she had grown up in, which they understood. so instead, andrea had been staying at a hotel, trying to distance herself from the life she no longer lived when she was in high school. being in this town reminded her of how different she was now, and how she had tried to be the perfect girl when really she was just sad and broken for the last few years she was living there. she had avoided going out for the most part, as she didn’t want to run into any old friends but she was running low on food. she entered the grocery store when she noticed another memory standing right in front of her. she wanted to turn and leave, run as fast as she could. but something inside of her kept her standing still. maybe it was because she didn’t want to seem rude and was still playing the role of the perfect girl, or maybe it was because she still regretted how things ended. she was frozen in place until she managed to say, “hey, it’s a been a while.”
endless memories would forever be tied to the town where he had grown into his teens. due to the fact that his parents’s decided to move half way across country when he was eight, home was much more of a feeling than an actual location. wherever his parents would be, separation aside, he’d be right at home. a familiar habit, charlie tried to visit both of his parents as much as humanly possible, even more so when he’d be for months on end away. photojournalism made him travel all around the work, a perk as much of a curse, however, the event week off to charge up his batteries pushed him right back on track. whereas he insisted he’d go out and shop on his mother’s behalf, not in a million years would andrea’s appearance ever have crossed his mind, perplexed features surely showcasing that exact point as their gazes met. “hey,” he replies warmly, confusingly enough delighted to see her once more, even if their breakup had given him a memorable heartbreak. “yeah. long time no see.” the space had been very much needed, but sometimes he did wonder what was going on with her these days. “you look good.” he pauses. “visiting your folks?”
ssunveins:
“you’ll still get your basketball team, don’t worry… it just might be a smaller version. plus, who knows, maybe i’ll join in,” she shrugs, a small glint of mischief flashing in her eyes. if she were to ever join a game, she would end up messing the entire thing up, that was for sure. then again, part of her couldn’t want until they were both running and playing with charlie, even if she wasn’t necessarily the most sporty of the two. “mhm, sure you wouldn’t… and hm, i think on the husband scale, you’ve been a solid ten –– honestly, probably higher. you’ve dealt with my moody, sleep deprived ass like a pro.” it hasn’t been easy for either of them, but she’s found herself becoming a little more patient; learning that some things just couldn’t be rushed. throughout it all, luca had served as her rock; her only guidepost as they both attempted to figure it all out. “well, ten miles for you is nothing, so i can never be sure! i could be down for a normal sized walk, though,” she shrugs. “i dunno… i figured i’d dance for a minute, feel like i’m gonna throw up, have you say ‘i told you so’ and then make you carry me back to the car. seems like a decent plan to me,” a smirk appears across her features then, already sensing his reaction. “oh, i see… and the only thing you used those brownie points for was getting laid,” she chuckles, eyes soon falling to the menu, searching it for a few moments. “i don’t know why you’re not a big dessert person… it’s like one of the best things in the world,” she glances up then, placing the menu down. “the cheesecake sounds good. and since you don’t really like dessert, does that mean i get to eat both of our pieces?”
“i’m getting sick of your fake promises, veronica. if we’re being honest ― i can actually see you joining in because you’ll feel left out and jealous otherwise, but that’s all.” his brow arches upwards, as if challenging her to show or tell him otherwise, whilst a confident smirk rested across his lips. as much as he couldn’t predict the future down to the smallest details, some things were a given, since people never changed down to their cores. “higher? i’m flattered, babe. i do try. your moody, sleep deprived ass deserves it.” luca smiles warmly, chocolate hues shifting down to his hand as fingertips moved aimlessly across the soft table’s towel, yet swiftly returned its attention to her. stomach and heart filled, he’s more than ready to see what else the night would bring. “a normal sized walk it is, i promise. you act like i’ve ever dragged you down along for miles on end without a single warning.” he snorts, chuckling. “sexy, babe. real sexy.” the amusement written across his features, even as his head shakes shortly in plain disapproval. “what if you actually feel sick? think about it, then we won’t get to take a chance of the pool or tub.” he comments, shifting a bit on his seat, leaning forward as his forearms rest upon the table. “wrong. i used those brownie points to get you to fall in love with me. i never had a problem getting laid back in the day.” a small, shameless dig to their present? perhaps, even though only jokingly, since her recovery and well-being came first and foremost. “not big on sweets, i guess. so, yeah, you can eat both... just don’t go and get sick, dummy.”
ssunveins:
the minute those words left his mouth tears began to stream from her eyes, the look on her face downright pathetic. how could it all fall apart so quickly? of course, part of her understood her hand in all of this, yet the other felt so wildly surprised. even with how difficult things had been, she never wanted to say goodbye to him. she didn’t know how to answer his question, silently wishing there was some way, somehow that she could take everything back. she doesn’t even know she’s crying until she feels the tears drift toward the edge of her face, attempting to wipe them away as best she could, yet they were much to quick for her to keep up. ““i never –– i never wanted to break up. what i did was stupid, but this isn’t what i wanted,” she sighs, soon looking at him. “you’re what i want,” she says quietly, her tone filled with sadness as she stood there, sniffling. “i know i’ve broken your trust, but i can make you trust me again. i’ll do anything it takes.”
despite all the hardships he has been put through by life, seeing her sad and being the cause of it cut him more deeply than all the rest. the situation was completely out of his control and for someone whose beliefs were all based on science, on hard facts, letting his heart fight it off with his logical side was exhausting. “how can you say that? what did you expect to accomplish? i can’t change how chaotic my life is right now, but it’s not right to let yourself be unhappy because of what i got going on.” dex pulls his shirt to wipe away any trace of tears left on his cheeks. as much as that was a matter of the heart, feelings were never the best when it came to make hard decisions. “we need a break ― you need a break to figure out what it is that you want.” he pauses, breathing in steadily. “i can crash at a friend’s place from tomorrow.”
ssunveins:
“funny, because my lucky number is four. sometimes three. but y’know, four makes a lot of sense –– it’s enough for them to play two on two, and for us to not live in a complete mad house.” she chuckles, teasing him. the thought of that many kids running around made her shudder at the moment, still attempting to get used to life with a newborn. as much as she adored charlie, it wasn’t always easy, all the time. not that she minded –– charlie had her fully wrapped around his finger in no time. while she knew having more kids was something she definitely wanted, she wasn’t so keen to rush it right then. once everything fully settled, then she was sure she’d revisit that thought once more. they had plenty of time, and plenty of love to give, and finding a new normal was something they’d have to work towards. but with him, she knew it was possible. “i know you’re lying to me but it’s fine, i forgive you,” she smirks, fully aware of just how chaotic she could be. “eh, i guess you do. we both do,” so far, tonight only proved how necessary time like this was with one another. with both her heart and stomach full, she leans back in her seat ever slightly, allowing the waiter to take their plates. eyes grow wide at his words, looking over at him. “a long walk? are you trying to kill me?” she chuckles lightly once more, bringing up a spare napkin to wipe gingerly at her mouth, just in case. “no, no, i’m fine! i can walk to the car all by myself, thank you very much,” that last word was a little slurred, but other than that, she felt fully capable. that might change once she stood up, though. “i might be a little tipsy, but not bad. you can’t blame me, though, i haven’t had any alcohol in almost a year! i’ve lost all the tolerance i built up in college.”
“four? i suppose that’s not too bad. as long as i have my basketball team, i’m good.” luca’s features lightens up by the large smile curling on his lips. absurdity in his words aside, he knew he’d be the happiest man alive with whatever was in their future as long as she was by his side. family’s a blessing, and he learned that in the worst possible way. “me? lying? i would never break our vows like that. although... i did also promise to be the very best husband i can be, too ― how am i doing on that regard?” he smirks. white lies were excused on both parties, because for the most part, neither had much of an issue calling each other out whenever the need came around. “babe... don’t be dramatic. i’m not talking about walking for ten miles.” his brown hues roll inwardly, a chuckle following shortly after. “besides, how’re we supposed to go out and dance when you can barely walk?” his expectations for tonight’s adventure were rather low and open to interpretation, since he knew the first night away for that long from charlie would be difficult, but he’s glad to see that they were able to discuss other topics without involving their newborn. “i know, i know.” he chuckles. “there’s no judging here, babe. i’ve never been against carrying you anywhere anyway, as much as i used to use it as an excuse to get those brownie points.” he admits shamelessly, a smirk across his features as he slides the dessert menu across the table. “your pick. you know i’m not big on dessert.”
