Look, we all love Bughead but that doesn’t mean you just should shit on Varchie in the process.

Be courteous. If it were Bughead in the shower in the promo and every Varchie shipper and anti posted about how it should have been Varchie you’d feel a way.

Look, I’m not saying you have to like every ship, I just personally think it’s bad form.

Why A Varchie Shower Scene Makes Sense

I’m seeing a lot of posts lamenting the fact that Varchie was awarded a steamy shower scene and not Bughead, and while I’m Bughead trash, I think a shower sex scene indeed makes more sense for Varchie.

Varchie:

Both Archie and Veronica have extensive sexual experience with other partners and each other . It makes sense that they are express their affection in a more overtly physical way with each other

Archie is going through a really tough deal with his Dad and we’ve all heard Cami say in multiple interviews that Veronica has never had to deal with anything so major in a relationship before.

Case in point:

Veronica is not equipped to deal with Archie’s trauma. She doesn’t know how to comfort him yet, they’ve only just begun. What she does know ? How to please him sexually, how to distract him with her body if only for a little while. Thus stepping into the shower with him.

Bughead,although they definitely have it in them as the Kitchen scene shows, has not crossed over into sex yet and even if they were, being newbies it would probably be at least a little while before they’d feel comfortable being brazen enough to fuck in Betty’s shower especially with how Jughead fear’s Alice’s wrath lol.

TL:DR- Bughead will have their time. It will catch us unaware just like the kitchen scene and we will all die lol. Don’t rush perfection guys 😂
