I wanted to ask you something about your Hogwarts au, not because I don't agree but because I want to know the thought process... why did you sort Yoongi in Slytherin??

ahh i sorted yoongi is slytherin to kind of,,,,ah jeez let me explain like. from the Beginning™.

so there’s a big stereotype on yoongi as being coldhearted, uncaring, stoic, etc. right? (it’s died down A LOT, but. definitely exists. both in non-fic parts of the fandom and in the actual fic-writing part of it.)

there’s also a negative stigma on slytherins !! (although. a bit more aggressive than yoongi’s stereotype in fandom.)

i really wanted to take those negative stigmas and counterract both with yoongi’s actions, thoughts, behaviors. i wanted to take the negative stereotype, continue it into the sorting of houses (so it would seem that yoongi truly WAS that kind of person) only to kinda. crumple it up. throw it away. via yoongi’s characterization. tada tada tada and that’s why i put yoongi in slytherin :^)

(this was actually a cool question to get? i like explaining my thought procresses but i never get asked anything about my writing)
