BBMA’s, American talk shows, a lot of interviewers and television/radio shows, continue to treat BTS (for the second year in a row) as if they’re some kind of internet fad who’s cool because they have a lot of fans. Only that. Like questions are centric to gossip, during performances they continuously and very frequently cut to the crowd almost more so than showing the actual performance which is something most other acts don’t have happen. It’s like they think BTS’ fans/fanbase is more interesting or entertianing than the group themselves. I think that’s really sad and a mistake, BTS’ ppoularity isn’t going anywhere. They’ll continue to recieve as much social attenton, loyalty and adoration as they have been for give or take 2/3 years, and then some. I have to wonder how many more years BTS will perform and smash all over the world, before America starts treating BTS like popular artists who are popular for a reason, and not some kind of phenomonon who’s fans are the most interesting thing about them??????
