The decision to make Charlie’s desires to save sinners about proving herself to her dad (then mother) rather than an earnest desire to redeem her people is so fucking odd and I feel like Viv unknowingly made Charlie extremely unlikable.

Her pathetic efforts in season 1 felt pretty sympathetic because she was trying to save her people from genocide. But in season 2 it’s treated like a vanity project. Why should I like Charlie when she views her people as just a stepping ladder to getting what she wants—

I don't know if anyone pointed this out (or even if they did it wasn't this straightforward),but it's quite interesting how Stolas can be absolutely disrespectful towards someone's interest then do a complete 180 if he figures out it can be used to accommodate him.

I genuinely do not understand the constant slut shaming towards Verosika. Maybe it would be funny if it was acknowledged as ironic (because Blitzo is a sex maniac) but given this show always antagonizes sexually promiscuous women it just feels like the writers channels their misogyny into Blitzo and plays it off as a gag.

It comes off like “hahaha yeah Verosika IS a whore” which as terrible as apology tour was, i thought the show was doing a good job at steering away from those jokes.

Unfortunately, that's exactly how the show plays it. "Verosika's a whore and that's bad because she's a woman. Multiple male characters doing the same thing is perfectly fine."

I think the issue that the fandom doesn't understand about the Viv lawsuit is that this stuff takes a WHILE. For an example, Afroman (Before I got High) guy got raided by the cops and used the video to complain and the police department sued him for that (I think) in 2023. It took them just about now-ish for them to the case to get to court and for the legal process to go through. (About 3 years) Imagine that the union is bringing up charges and labor laws and all that, imagine the evidence that both sides have to come through and the time that it is.

Very much this. People in the fandom acting like it's all over because it happened last month, not realizing these things take years.

I think one of my biggest problems around stolitz is the cheering on of stolas being a petty bitch when he doesn’t deserve to be petty or bitchy, he literally causes his own problems, and refused to accept that he might have been the bad guy in his relationships. I can fuck with a guy who does things like Stolas, if the narrative didn’t bend over backwards to assure stolas that he is a perfect little boy, mama’s special little angel, if you will.

Apology Tour was definitely the nail in that coffin. Its entire purpose was to coddle and baby Stolas and reassure him that none of that stuff he ostensibly was trying to be better from was actually his fault, it was all Blitz's.

And when you’re done with that, spend the next 15 years groveling at Angel’s feet for the shit you pulled in episode three and give him his own well furnished mansion and half the money in your bank account.
