i am a forgetful role player.

     sometimes i will post inbox calls, starter calls or interaction calls and i will happily begin … when i have muse for it, and sometimes i will lack muse, and i may forget about it all.

     that is not because of you, the other part.

     forgetfulness is something that we often frown upon, take as an insult directly towards us as a person. “but they never write to me”, “they always forget about me”, “i’m not gonna interact because they always forget” and while these things are totally valid, it must be said that forgetting things are human. not only is it human, but we should allow role players to be forgetful every now and then, simply because many, if not all, have lives outside of Tumblr that require a lot of them.

     my forgetfulness is never directed towards you as a person.

     sometimes i forget because …

i am tired.

i have a lot on my mind.

i get lost in other tasks.

i have to prioritize.

i bite over more than i can chew.

i simply forget.

     therefore it must be said, have patience. reach out. don’t just sit back and huff about how you “always seem to be forgotten”. some folks have a lot on their minds, and that needs to be allowed.

Idate grabs at Soldan's facial cheeks before stretching them repeatedly. Cackling while doing so. He's having fun. You can tell by how his tail unknowingly wags behind him!

"Idate!" Soldan slowly, or attempted to process what he was doing. Nowhere near shedding week, but the scales on her face were soft enough to be flexible. "What the hell are you doing?!" now pulling in his face, just on one side very gently. "You damn troublemaking orca!"

IDATE'S GRIN IS WIDE & FULL OF TEETH. He lets out a howl of laughter at her reaction, eyes narrowing upwards in pure amusement. Her own cheek grabbing in return doesn't make him let up in his annoying game.

“ 'm simply payin' a visit t' the lil' lady, of course. ” The nickname that seemed to always strike some nerve comes out playfully, bordering on teasing. His pulling becomes slightly rougher now, ignoring how the scales felt pressed into his gloved fingers. For now, he wanted to enjoy pulling out any sort of reaction from the other.

The great sorcerer sighed contently. Softly sleeping without a care as he leaned against the other.For some reason he used find solace in the ex- familar's company.It was quite easy to end up falling asleep time to time.Even though after everything's have passed,seems Old habits die hard... Meikai still in a way harbored some trust and care in his ex familar.They were still a treasured person he relied on.He can only give a small smile in reaction to the light kiss the other presented on his cheek while he slept.

THE SHARK STARES AT HIS SLEEPING EX—MASTER'S FACE FOR A WHILE. It was to make sure that humiliating actions weren't the cause for Meikai to awaken. When it insteads causes him to smile, Old can't help but stare for just a little bit longer. It felt… odd in some way. Meikai wasn't his anymore in a sense.

He didn't deserve to be tender with the man who betrayed him, but he is always drawn back to him, mourning over the wizard that was dear to him. Was he still dear?

Old's body tenses when he shuffles closer to his figure, his head turning the opposite away, burning up in embarrassment. His arms very slowly crossed over his chest, careful to not startle Meikai. A low scoff is released as his eyes shut close to take in the silence and the sounds of the wizard's slumber. Content when he shouldn't feel like it. His tail wraps around him, like how he used to in the past when they used to be close. It was instinct & a habit he could never let go. Never. Not even as his trust in Meikai had become broken & low.
