Though loona was wary to ever admit it she loved her father and often worried about him. He always seemed fine at the end of the day. Always being able to pick himself back up after the world had shit on him. But this time seemed different. He seemed more broken than usual and from what she heard from stolas he was in even worse shape than before.Â
It brought her some comfort to know he had some support with stolas. Her opinion of him was mixed. She never really trusted him with her dadâs heart. Not only was he a royal but with how he treated him before she was sure he would only cast him aside once he wasnât having his fun with him.Â
But it appeared she was proven wrong. Blitz was in this weak vulnerable state and stolas was offering him not only his support and companionship but also a safe place to rest his head at night. The mansion offered a lot more safety than their shitty little apartment ever did. If he was willing to do all this for the both of them she was willing to trust him for now. Sheâd just have to see if things lasted this way.Â
Seemed like he was really serious about this. She was confused about what exactly he was doing with all this magic shit but soon it was explained and it became clear to her. A magical pact. Which seemed actually binding. She kind of doubted that it was all for show. He actually seemed rather serious about all of this. âOkay.â She responded with unease in her tone. Reaching up to grasp the manâs hand. âI am choosing to trust you. I mean if youâre willing to do all this for my dad I think youâre trustworthy.â
She cleared her throat a bit from some nervousness she was feeling. After all her kind had never made it a habit to trust the rich and elite. But to be fair stolas was different from most in his standing. He seemed to actually care. âTake care of my dad and thank you for letting us stay here.â She wasnât going to complain about being able to stay in such a lavish place.Â
The only reason she was able to have her own room beforehand was because her dad gave up the one bedroom in their apartment while he simply slept on their couch. Which wasnât in the best condition to begin with. She had to presume that he was dealing with some major back problems.Â
She doubted it would take much time to pick her room. She was never picky and with how luxurious his home seemed to be it seemed like it would be an easy feat. Before making her leave she turned back to him. âMake sure you take care of my dad like you promised. Heâs always taking care of me and his employees. He could use someone taking care of him for a change.âÂ
Blitz was wracked with nerves the more he waited for stolas to come back. So much so that he had to distract himself. As he was wrapped in his own blanket cocoon he was flipping through the many tv channels. Which the prince had hundreds of. None of which were interesting him at the moment so he decided he would switch to voxflix.Â
When the prince walked in he was just in the middle of watching this cheesy romantic comedy. A type of movie the imp was rather fond of. Not that he often let anyone know that. âOh hey.â He greeted his tail lashing a bit nervously. âDid it go okay? Is my loonie alright? She isnât mad right? Sheâs kind of easy to piss off.â
When the hell-houndâs hand made full contact in the avianâs, red ribbons materialized around them-- albeit many more were wrapped around Stolasâs arm. Only one being wrapped once around the the girlâs wrist, and it was loose. Meanwhile, the fabric was wrapped securely around the avianâs lower arm. The weight and restrictions were on him. If Stolas had pulled any well-worded-tricks-- itâd be displayed here. The fabric soon seemed to fade into feathers and fur-- leaving nothing behind in itâs wake. Well, nothing that the hellhound would feel. For Stolas-- there was now a leash added to him. One that bound him to both her, and the little imp still within his room. It would prove useful, if the owl was ever separated from them both. The leash was pulled by the one who held it, and right now that wasnât Stolas.
â... I shall take care of him, I promise.â It was... more relieving than he anticipated-- hearing that Loona trusted him. That sentiment bringing about a soft smile that came from the heart. This whole ordeal had been stressful to say the least, and it was a moment of reprieve from it. âGet some rest for now, dear. Simply let anyone here know if you need anything.â Before leaving the hound to her own devices, he instructed several servants to help her get settled in-- give her whatever she asked for, make sure a good dinner is prepared and served to her, etc. While he was at it, he also made arrangements for tomorrow-- so that the father-daughter duoâs things would be taken care of before they even woke up. That, and it insured that Stolas could spend quite a lot of uninterrupted quality time with Blitzø. Which... considering the impâs emotional state-- Stolas thought it best to not leave him alone for too long for awhile.
A knock had announced his arrival back to the room, before the avian stepped food inside. Expression softening as he noticed the little anxious tail-lashing. Taking off his cloak and hat, he hung it by the door as he spoke. Words gentle. Wanting to quell those nervous thoughts just as quick as he could.
âShe is worried, I wonât lie-- but she certainly isnât angry with you, my dear.â Strolling over to the bed, he took a seat on itâs edge-- before scooting more onto it to be closer to the little demon. âShe loves you, and just wants to see you happy-- as do I.â A small pause-- and then a slightly self-conscious chuckle. âI... probably frightened her and your coworkers with how serious I am taking all of this... Although the circumstances certainly require it.â He did feel a bit guilty, but the situation really was that dire.Â
âThe point is-- she understands. Understands that your emotions are fried, and you need some time to explain it all to her. Plus, it appears Iâve also earned her trust in all this. Though, that is likely due in part to this.â It wasnât like Stolas was about to hide the fact he made a pact with Blitzøâs daughter. So, he raised one of his arms-- just as the red-ribbon-wrappings faintly glowed under his feathers. â... The pact was simple. Make sure you and her are both safe, and that you have my allegiance unconditionally.â It was something Blitzø knew, but Loona had zero proof of-- Well, until the deal that is. Although even though that was the case...
â... I want to extend the same offer to you, Blitz. A high demonâs words are binding, and youâd simply be able to call my name and Iâd know where you are-- if you want me there, that is.â It wasnât like if Blitzø said his name in conversation, itâd be an automatic summoning. â... Plus it-- if you have any doubts about any of this... I want to get rid of them best I can. You donât have to make a decision about it now-- the offer will still stand be it a week from now, a month, a year-- Iâm not putting time restriction on it.â Which was vastly unwise, but feelings were never wise. âYou and your daughter being safe and happy-- thatâs all that matters to me.âÂ
