-
As George wipes the sleep from his eyes, he can hear the slight pitter-patter of water coming from the bathroom. Sitting up slowly, he holds a hand to his head, and looks around only to notice that Dream isn’t in bed. Figuring he must be in the shower, George pulls on a robe and heads into the kitchen. As he opens the fridge, he can hear Dream's angelic voice coming from the bathroom.
Sweet creature, had another talk about where it’s going wrong
George smiles quietly to himself as he imagines him in the shower, loosely holding the shower head, singing into it. His boyfriend swaying to the beat of his own voice.
But we’re still young
George’s heart warms, knowing that he loved Dream as much as Dream loved him. He was the light in his life and George couldn’t imagine life without him.
We don’t know where we’re going but we know where we belong
Singing along happily, George makes two mugs of coffee for when Dream comes out of the shower. Just as Dream makes it to his favorite part, the water turns off and George can hear him humming softly as he walks into your bedroom. He frowns a little. George grabs their mugs and takes it into the bedroom where Dream is getting ready. When George gets closer, he hears Dream still singing, so he sings along.
“And oh, we started, Two hearts in one home.” George quietly sings behind him as he sets his mug down.
Dream turns around smiling warmly as he sings to George, “It’s hard when we argue, we’re both stubborn, I know.”
George looks up at him longingly, smiling as he listens to his heavenly voice.
“Sweet creature, sweet creature, wherever I go, you bring me home.” They sing in unison as Dream pulls the shorter boy into a soft hug.
“Good morning Gogy, how was your sleep?” Dream asks sweetly, kissing his forehead.
“It was the best sleep I’ve had in a while, but honestly, nothing was better than waking up to your beautiful voice,” George answers, almost whispering.
Dream pulls away to fix his hair in the other mirror across the room. George places his mug down and starts walking towards him slowly.
“Clay, I love you so so so much, and no one in this universe makes me feel the way you do,” He starts, standing behind Dream as he’s facing the mirror.
He could hear his heart pounding in his ears as he gets down on one knee. He reaches into his robe to grab a small box, “and that’s why I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
“George, what’re you tal-” Dream starts, turning around to see him, “Wait, no, are you serious?”
“No?”
“Wait, no, yes, I mean no, I don’t mean no,” he stutters, pulling the smaller up by his elbow slowly.
George feels tears welling in his eyes and he starts to walk away, “Actually, you know what? Just forget I asked, I’m sorry. Do you want eggs or anyth-”
“George, I love you too, my family loves you, my friends love you,” he states, pulling out a box identical to yours, Dream laughs lightly, “I just wanted to ask you first, that’s all.”
Tears flow freely down Dream’s cheeks as the older boy walks back towards him, “Wait, are you serious? Of course, I’ll marry you.”
George jumps onto him wrapping his arms and legs around him like a koala, crying into Dream’s broad shoulder. Dream puts a hand on his waist, signaling George to come down. He gently sets his feet down, arms still resting on the nape of Dream’s neck. Dream reaches a hand down to the older boy’s cheek, rubbing his thumb across it to wipe the tears away. He lean into Dream’s hand, closing his eyes and humming with satisfaction. Dream pulls him close, hand still on George’s waist. He opens his eyes and leans in closer until Dream’s face is inches away from yours.
“I love you so much,” Dream whispers, lips brushing against George’s, eyes boring into him.
Dream pulls George into him, their soft lips cradling each other’s. Georgelean into the kiss, seemingly closing the distance between their two bodies even more. Shivering as Dream's hand runs up and down his spine, pressing softly.
They pull away after what feels like hours, George smiling up at Dream, practically beaming, “I love you, Clay.”
“I love you too,” Dream pauses before smiling brightly, “Mr. WasTaken.”
George swats his arm, “Hey! Not yet, and also we haven’t told anyone, I want to send a mass email,” rubbing his hands together in preparation as he walks towards his computer.
Dream grabs his wrist tenderly, twirling you into his big arms, “Why can’t we just tell people tomorrow,” he basically whines, staring at George with a small pout.
“Fine, you’re right,” He raises his hands in defeat, “Then what are we doing today?”
Dream leads him, taking his hand in his, towards the bed, smiling cutely.
“Huh? You want to have engagement sex?” George cocks his head, confused as to why his fiancee has taken him to their bedroom.
“No I-,” Dream shakes his head. “Just come on, climb up,” he says, crawling onto the bed.
“Okay fine,” George hops into his lap, “So? What’s the pla-”
Dream pulls him down into the bed, wrapping George in his embrace, “This.”
“This?”
“Yes ‘this’, stay in, cuddle all day, let’s do it please George, my schedule is clear today and so is yours,” Dream asks dreamily.
“Yeah okay, let’s do it, why not? We’re free anyway,” George shrugs, nuzzling deeper into his fiancee’s neck.
“Hey, Mr. WasTaken, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
“I can’t wait either, Mr. WasTaken”
