Hiiiii weird question but any chance you’d consider posting or sending me the full version of the differently colored art in your recent post? I ask because the original is one of my favorite lock screens (pic included, and what’s funny is I didn’t even change it this has been my lock screen for several months now) and I would love to have another version just for like variety y’know. She knelt down again as she did earlier in the day. Paul was disarmed, he didn't seem to possess his usual animosity towards her. She cradled his head in her lap, his face lolling a bit when handled.

"Why did you do this?" She asked him simply. He only shrugged non-committally.

His eyes were closed again, but Paul's brow was furrowed indicating he was awake. Irulan gently brushed the hair away from his face [...]

Hiiiii so can you tell me if your Dune fic is gonna have a happy ending? I’m asking because I wanna read it (the last Paul and Irulan fail marriage AU ended up having Irulan and Chani as well as Irulan and Paul, and I was just not into that lol which sucked because it didn’t happen until chapter nine and she didn’t tag it), but I wanna make sure the ending won’t trigger an OCD episode before I do it. If you’d prefer to message me the answer so you don’t spoil it for everyone, that’s totally okay I just would really appreciate making sure!

Hello! Thank you for messaging me! I don't have a set plan BUT it will not be Paul x Chani. Except obviously some flashbacks as my fic is about 1-2 years forward from where the last dune movie leaves off. And is following some dune messiah checkpoints (if you have read the books).

Spoilers for official book dune: so there has already been references to Paul and Chani's previous relationship and child (who passed away) in my fic. But the fic will continue with only Paul x Irulan.

Forgive me my manic phase, my sick drawings will be over soon. This is the first piece of a planned triptych, the idea for which I took from the description of the Harkonnen no-chamber in Heretics of Dune - richly adorned with erotic frescoes (in the Pompeian style perhaps) and filled with antiques. I wanted to depict three members of House Harkonnen (the Baron, Feyd, and Piter) in their natural habitat, at the peak of their wealth, luxury, and power.

I feel like I've been working on this for three months, struggling to capture the right poses and the mood.

the indignity of having to marry ur fathers usurper! of being denied of what is urs by right! his wife his empress in name only! not being allowed to have an heir. her dynasty ending with her! the polite and stilted courtesy in public! maybe uncovering. excavating even something more real and earnest in their recording sessions! going from resentment to something softer over the years. but the distance the distrust the dismissal festering regardless! they have so much going on its great 👍
