Just a Visit, Jammie Holmes, 2022
Once, I begged someone to love me the way I loved them, and that is still the saddest thing I've ever done. I explained my feelings clearly, gave them everything I could, and waited for them to respond the same way but love can't be forced or demanded. That experience showed me a harsh truth: no matter how much you care, the other person may never feel the same, and sometimes the most painful kind of love is the one that is never returned.
