I'm going straight to the point
I lost interest in the undertale au comunity a while ago, as far as june 2025, I have many other interests now and I don't really feel like working on this anymore, nor have i felt like working on it for a while now
uvtale was a fun concept, with a poor execution and a lack of a propper story becuse the plot was convoluted and the setting it was placed in didnt fit with what i wanted to do by the end.
a few months back i wanted to do these lore streams about it in order to get the story out there and as a way to move on to my other projects, but i couldn't really finish doing that by the end because the plot was that poorly written(as well as other things that I will not be talking about because it involves my personal life)
if you want a rough summary of what it was meant to be like feel free to read below
(disclaimer: although this is the most "finished" version of what the outline of the plot was meant to be, it's higly outdated as of the last concept of the story i was working on before i fully decided to quit)
frisk falls to the underground, meets papyrus and goes thru the ruins, bunch of shenanigans with asgore and pap's as frisk learns more about monsterkind
frisk gets to snowdin and meets chara on the entrance, they go thru snowdin and get to town where they meet sans and the people from the snowdin shelter
they start the plan to assemble all the human souls to break the barrier and start their search through the underground
first stop: the wild east. they end up traveling thru water!
clover and the uty cast get introduced!!(they probably have a bit of a break there or something)
clover, ceroba, chara and frisk go through the steamworks to get to hotland(frisk unlocks a new ability, they realize that they can one shot darkness with the power of light)
they get to hotland and start the search for the second human(fibs)
they find fibs! as the trait of kindness they’re willing to help open the barrier! but will reunite with them once they have the other 5 missing souls
they find out theres another human also living in hotland
the gang splits up for more productivity(chara w/ ceroba and clover w/frisk) (chara and clover are pissed at eachother rn)
frisk and clover find perseverance!!!!!!(shard)
she has a file that compiles most of the information regarding the location of the souls
gang reunites, decide they’re going to go find integrity next due to clover’s insistence
they get to the deepest bits of waterfall where its really dark and cold, but they manage to get to the place where integrity should be. clover and chara fight thru the whole journey
muffet appears and fights them. but their fight is interrupted when kanako appears to stop them. kanako has the integrity soul
with clover and chara mostly reconciled, the quest for the last 2 souls resumes itself, with ceroba deciding to stay back to watch after the waterfall village kana was running.
they make their way back to snowdin for supplies, and take a raft directly to the core after finding out through sans's notes that the final soun (patience) is in in the depths of the core
papyrus and asgore open the entrance of the ruins, the skelebros reunite :) (yayy)
frisk and chara make their way to the core, were they find the patience soul being used as an energy source to power the sun stone that keeps the electricity running in the entire underground, after taking it off the canister it was being contained in the core starts shutting down due to a lack of energy and they have to make their way out epic style, they make it out!
When they get to the judgment hall, frisk gets ambushed by the darkness itself, and they fight with clover getting rid of it temporarily with a clover blast *tm
they get to the throne room, where queen toriel is, they explain what they’re trying to do and she guides them to the barrier. the room gets filled with a dark, thick fog
everyone gets dragged down by the dark except for frisk!
frisk saves everyone after fighting the incomprehensible horrors!
they make their way to the surface, everyone has some moment of closure
chara and clover were always dating, since the start. this wouldn't be revealed until the last third of the story before chara and frisk have to go to the core, clover then proceeds to kiss chara before they part ways because they didn't know if they'd get to see eachother again for a while after that.
after that chara would say something along the lines of "stop acting like you're confessing a crush we've been dating for 4 years"
originally i didnt wanna canonize this, but i ended up enjoying the dynamic and thought it would be cute
I don't really care about cocoapowder anymore either, I'm glad people enjoy it though
frisk's motives to going to the underground werent going to be disclosed until near the end as well, with their main motivation being creating a sort of "army" for themselves to fight against the humans that wronged them.
of course this is a childish reasoning, worthy of the childish nature of frisk's personality in this au, they eventually have a chaange of heart midway through after meeting and making friends with monsters and humans.

i got not much left to say other than thanking you guys for enjoying what i did got to post about this silly little story over the course of the past aalmost 2 years, even if its not much
seeing people make fanart of something i created felt really good, I apreciate the interest and the love i received from uvtale, and im glad it inspired other people as well.

recently i've started reworking my oc story "Penumbra" which I'm very excited to share news of in the future
Penumbra started partially because of uvtale, so you might notice some similarities in vibes, they're not related whatsoever though
