My god this website is so bad.

Like, I knew its coding was bad but jesus.

Yesterday I put up a post about my hand engraving with pictures and links to my website and Instagram. Immediately it was flagged as porn which I appealed and it was immediately cleared. Great.

Today I noticed they took the links out of the post for some reason. So I edited the post and added them back in and now its saying its porn again and there's no way to appeal it and even after removing the links again it's still permanently flagged.

I can't believe they want to charge for this. My own website from the 2000s had more functionality that that.

I finished a commission the other day for a young man who recently became a fully trained Irish soldier.

It's a sterling silver signet ring with a 9ct disk on the top. All hand made and hand engraved by me.

The lettering is about 0.5mm or 1/32" tall and means "Soldier of Ireland" in Irish. Hand engraving those letters nearly killed me

Hey nerds, haven't posted here in a while, been working on an insane personal project.

Here's a quick look at one of the details I'm adding to it. It's a tiny silver and 18ct gold Mary Lwyd. The details are so small you can't see them with the naked eye.

NOTE: it's temporarily glued to a brass sheet so I can work on it.

And here's pictures of one of the tiny chisels I used to carve it

I just realised I totally forgot to include something to show the scale.

All together it's approximately 10mm or 2/5ths of an inch tall. It's head is 2mm or 2/25ths of an inch from nose to back

I know some of you love Battlestar Galactica so I had to share this.

It's a custom piece for a friend to put on his work computer to impress his workmates with his geeky knowledge.

For anyone who doesn't get it, it's a play on the lyrics from 'Dragula', a heavy metal song by Rob Zombie

Details: Hand cut into brass using a combination of a 116° V graver sharpened using a Steve Lindsay template in a GRS system and a traditional No.6 flat graver. Whole process took about two hours or so on and off.

I loved this design so much I hand engraved it on to a coin using my home-made pneumatic hand engraving tool. (note, this coin isn't for sale, it's purely for practice and is meant as an homage to the original artist and their style).

A wedding present I did for a workmate. Its her and her now husband’s initials on old Irish ha'pennys that we plated in white rhodium.

I made and engraved some monogrammed silver cufflinks for my dad for father's day

Pierced out irish 5p coin. Had to use a number 8 blade to get in to all the details

Commission I got from my barber to give to their boss, Sam. They ended up commissioning another two coins. The detailed writing is under 1mm tall.
