Haruno still wasn’t exactly thrilled to meet this man he was new and now that he saw him he was HUGE. It was intimidating, he wasn’t used to father figures being nice or even being around. He’d have rather met the man his mom used to talk about than this guy! He looked away, not even caring that he had a giant pile of toys for him.

The boy stood beside his ‘we don’t need a dad’ opinion. He made a loud hmph nose when she tried to introduce him and turned away from her, moving to turn his back to both of them. He was a stubborn little boy and just went back to playing with his toys.

Today was the day! The day Caesar had been excited for and worried about ever since she’d found Haruno all alone that night. Her little boy was meeting someone very special to her, Jonathan Joestar. They’d been friends for a long time, but they were also…um..she blushed a little whenever she thought about how they were..dating. She shook her head and looked down at Haruno, who was playing with the little toys he’d found somewhere in her room. Dolls and little cars…she’d asked Jonathan to bring more toys for him, something fun. She’d given him her game-boy but he was too worried about breaking it to touch it. Poor thing.

He was currently dressed in clothes the neighbors had given her, their son had grown out of them. Haruno was still a little too small for them, but he looked so cute! She was going to take him shopping tomorrow for stuff he wanted…and fitted in! She kneels down and kisses him on the cheek. “Are you excited to meet your daddy today, Haruno? I asked him to bring you presents he thought you’d like! Isn’t that nice of him? He’s excited to meet you, angel.”

Haruno was rather fussy over the subject of daddy, she knew he was scared. When he thought of daddy he thought of that awful man who used to be his father…but Jonathan was a gentle man, he wouldn’t lay a hand on Haruno in any harmful manner. She was going to reassure Haruno that Jonathan was a good daddy…even if he was rather nervous to take care of a child..

Today was the day... He wasn’t exactly thrilled to be meeting this new “daddy” guy. He didn’t need a daddy, he had Caesar and she was more than enough for him! She fed him, read him bedtime stories, kept the monsters away at night... She was all he needed. What could some guy add to that?!

Was he excited? No! He was the exact opposite of excited! This man was an intruder in his eyes, he wasn’t going to just sit there and let him barge into their happy life. He just huffed and turned away from the question arms crossed. “We don’t need a daddy.”

He was not a happy child. Gifts or no gifts this man would have to earn Haruno’s affection, and he would not make this easy.
