You sit on your bed and tap your foot nervously when the doorbell rings.
You triple-check your hair and makeup in the mirror before walking to the front door.
You try to compose yourself as you reach for the handle, It’s only a date. It’s only a date. It’s only a dat-
Seokjin greets you with a smile that reaches his dark doe eyes and his arms behind his back. “W-wow jagiya, you look stunning.”
You feel your face start to burn, “You don’t look too bad yourself,”
He was dressed in a loose fitting white top and ripped jeans, a look that complemented your casual lace black t-shirt dress and his light brown hair was messy in that way that made your heart skip a few beats.
Your thoughts were interrupted by him whipping out a medium-sized bouquet of red roses. “I hope you like them, I heard they’re your favorite.”
They were your favorite but you never told him that.
That means he asked around, what a sweetheart.
You take the flowers from his hand and place them in the vase near the door after thanking him nervously.
“So s-shall we get going?” he muttered taking your hand in his, you nod and grin at his shyness.
As soon as you’re in his car you realize that Jin and you didn’t make actual plans for tonight, it all happened so quickly that there wasn’t time to agree on an event just a piece of notebook paper with your address on it and a time.
“So where we headed?” You ask, giving into your growing curiosity.
Jin gives you that sunshine smile and tightens his grip on the steering wheel. “It’s a surprise jagi.”
You grumble and slam back in the passenger seat, you try to fake an attitude but your eyes can’t help but watch Jin driving.
Your eyes scan his is subtle features highlighted by the glow of the streetlights outside and your breath hitches at his beauty.
“Is there something on my face, because if there is I-I’ll stop this car right now.” He stuttered out nervously in response to your stare.
You giggle at his cuteness before saying “There’s nothing on your face, you’re just so beautiful Jinnie.”
Red spread through his cheeks and to the tops of ears as he attempted to hide a smile, “O-oh stop jagi, I’m not that good looking.” he mumbled as he pulled into a park of some kind.
You frown at his self-deprecation, “You’re so handsome jagi, I don’t know what you’re saying.”
He chuckles but you can tell that he took that compliment to heart and that fills you with warmth.
We were in a secluded area of the nearby 24/7 park by the beach. One of your favorite spots.
He gets out of the car and scrambles to the other side to open your door for you.
“Oooo what a gentleman.” You tease elbowing him lightly in the stomach. He bows jokingly and you nuzzle his hair.
He guides you to his trunk and cracks it open to show a wicker basket and a folded up blanket.
“I know it’s a bit cliche but-”
You grab his hand before he could doubt himself any further. “I love it, Jinnie.”
He grins back at you and proceeds to bring out the items.
When Jin and you finish setting up, you both don’t hesitate to dig into the sandwiches he packed.
One bite and you were in heaven. “MmM these are so good, where’d you get ‘em?” You asked, with your mouth buried in the sandwich.
He chuckled, “I actually made them.”
“You have to cook for me sometime, jagi, these are out of this world.” You mutter going back to eating.
He could only giggle and nod.
The night passes in a blur of good food, funny puns and conversations only meant for the two of you and the nature around you.
The sky was light when you let a yawn escape your lips.
“Jagi come here~” Jin mumbled sleepily.
You lazily crawl to his side of the blanket.
He brought his hand to your face and use a soft thumb to wipe crumbs from around your lips. You pay that he doesn’t notice your temperature shoot up, this was the closest he’s been all through the date.
He stops for a sec before bring your face closer to his, “I’ve been waiting for this jagi~”
Before you knew it his soft lips were on yours and his hands were on your chest and you were in heaven.
