Episode 7's tea party was so good omg.

Seeing Eva confronting Kyrie in EP7 tea party and having to witness Eva being EVA-Beatrice in the other fragment (EP3) makes me curious as to how KYRIE-Beatrice would look like! I want to incorporate chessboard and veil in her design, mirroring her statement about bonds and chessboard thinking.

in contrast to takano (see: part one of my series of pieces trying to depict various characters' perception of violence in higurashi), shion in meakashi receives some of the most graphic description in the series during its climax.

as such, it necessitated getting a bit graphic here. but shion's perspective at this point feels so disconnected from reality (despite how she dwells upon every nitty gritty detail of the horrible things she does) that it wouldn't have felt right to not exaggerate things. in this scene in particular, she revels in the violence, finds it beautiful (well she says she does, at least. meakashi shion isn't exactly the most reliable source, even for her own actual feelings on things)

speaking of meakashi, i actually did make something along the lines of the general concept for this series several years ago w/the nail scene (see: here) which is the main reason i didn't do it here.
