Message from the Admin Team:
As I’m sure you all know, myself and my fellow admins have been busting our rumps for longer than we can recall trying to keep this group in tact. Through title changes and issues along the way, we’ve been a family for over a year, some of us even longer than that.
This being said, we have recently come to a heartbreaking conclusion. For a while now, we have been pondering the idea of how to improve our small group, having come to realize that no matter how valiant our efforts, we just cannot seem to grow or expand. We have recently received two amazing new members to our group, and I’ve quickly come to love both of their characters, personalities, and writing skills. I am beyond thankful for their addition to our group, and I am happy to be able to say I know them through this group. However, two players just isn’t enough after months of renovations.Â
There are a lot of issues we as the admins team have been noticing that we can’t seem to control for multiple reasons, and with that and the inability to convince our members as a whole to do their part in making this a great group, we just don’t see how it is possible to save what we’ve built.Â
We love each and every single one of you, and that’s why this is the decision we have come to: For the members that would like to stay in our family and continue roleplaying with myself and the rest of the admin team, we will be joining THIS group. This is NOT a merger. We will NOT be a part of the admin team or associated with the admin team any longer. If you choose to join, it will be as though you are joining as an individual, not a group. Which means, we must obey their rules, and guidelines.
We would love to see all of you follow us over, as we may be carrying a few of our current characters over to this exciting group, one at a time, meaning that some connections and relationships will still be able to be salvaged. In the meantime, we will permit you to use the dash for the following week, so you have time to decide what you are doing, and the opportunity to talk among your fellow roleplayers in hopes of choosing what characters you will keep, if you choose to do so.
To learn more about this group: Briarcliff is a University set in Canada, much like most schools. The only catch? In the early 1970′s, a deranged student committed a campus massacre, killing over one hundred students and faculty members. It was closed for many years because of this, but now that it has been reopened, things are a little strange. Some say it might even be haunted. As a player, you can create either a student/faculty member that is living, or you can choose to play a character that passed away in the massacre, only to be left wandering the school for eternity, never able to leaving the grounds.
Just because this is a horror group does not mean you are subjected to horror plots. You can choose to play a living character, and carry them out as though nothing is going on as far as the undead are concerned, living out their school days as a normal teenager. Please keep this in mind.
We encourage you all to read the rules of this group before sending in your application. Since you will be joining as normal members, you will be able to pick up characters the same as every other group member. You will start with one, and be able to get a new one each week as long as you are active. The character limit is four, but if activity is superb, the admins have the ability to grant up to six characters per player.Â
Please like this post when you have read it, and please contact either the main or Admin Summerlea, Admin Rachel or Admin Artemis, stating whether you will be following us, or parting ways. We hope to hear positive news from you all soon. Thank you.
