20 OC Prompts

A bunch of random original character prompts by @5targuitar. Draw em, write em, use em for creative fun.

Your OC has drawn them self! How does it look?

Draw you character eating a ghibli-styled feast. 

Imagine all your OC’s having a business meeting at a large conference table. Imagine them all wearing the classiest suits. What are they meeting about? Who knows! But dang they all look sharp! 

If your OC’s had OC’s what would they look like? 

If your OC were a boss, mini boss, or final boss in a video game(of your choice) how would the hero have to fight them? What do their attacks look like? What is their opening dialogue when the hero meets them and once defeated, what do they say or do? 

One of your OC’s meets the very first version of themself. How do they react to one another? 

Your OC has fallen ill. How do they deal with being sick? What sort of symptoms do they develop? Anything unique to their species?

Draw your character doing some form of exercise. Weightlifting, running, cycling, etc.

Draw your characters as if they are part of a fighting game. Design the character select screen.

How well of a driver is your OC? Do they enjoy driving or do they prefer other modes of transportation? What is your OC’s “dream car." 

Beach trip! What would you find your OC doing at the beach? Swimming? Fishing? Collecting shells? Making sand castles? Throwing a tiny piece of bread in the air to a swarm of 500 seagulls? 

Something went wrong… Your character is having a rough time transforming into their alternate form! What do they look like? Is it painful? (if your character doesnt have an alt form, design one!)

Your character is on the run from the cops. What did they do…

How does your OC sleep? What do they wear? What kind of dreams or nightmares do they have?

Your OC has met an alternate version of them self, they are the exact opposite! (if they are a happy character, this version of them is angry) How do they deal with the situation?

Draw your character as if they were in MarioKart. Design their kart.

Which of your characters has the WORST temper? What makes your character angry and what calms them down?

Does your character play a sport? What sport do you think your character would be good/bad at?

Does your character cry much? What makes them cry and what sort of cry do they have? (loud, soft, obnoxious, etc)

Imagine your character as a dragon. What sort of dragon would they be? Would they be good or evil? What do they horde in their cave?

Four (figurative) eyes, golden locks, and fiery red fur. These are the features of Vanna- the fusion of Vivian and Goldie!

Embodying their introverted personalities, Vanna is a nearly neurotic thinker. Driven by Vivian’s passion and Goldie’s perfectionist attitude, this monster-human-hybrid does her best to work hard at her job. She has an affinity for patterns and seeks them in all situations, inherently leading to her social awkwardness and anxiety. But, you can almost always count on her to be working her brain through some means of puzzle: either Sudoku, crosswords, Rubik’s cubes, or even fractals, Vanna will be training her mind somehow.

After trying again and again to find a company to work for after a bad falling out with her Aunt Red, Goldie was desperate to get a position anywhere. after much perseverance (aka begging) she landed an accounting position at the office. A bundle of nerves and a workaholic, Goldie hopes her stay at the office will help her build her confidence and reinvent herself. her transformation, however, may be more literal than she anticipated.
