I feel it's time for me to officially take my leave

At least, as this face. I've been giving this a lot of thought for a very long time, and I feel it's time to lay Gon to rest. It's likely I won't leave for good, provided I can find a new face I'm interested in portraying. However, as I'm an indecisive person, this may take some thinking.

To those of you who Gon is close to, know he loves you dearly, and if I change faces, the new muse will continue to interact with you as always. But the inspiration for Gon as quite unfortunately died. And I can't continue to try and play a character whose spirit has faded away.
