The Sun XIX Ramaria sp. . Whether you’re a test-tube wielding scientist or an ascetic living on a single grain of rice in a mountain cave, I think we can all agree the Sun is a powerful entity for all things living. Some might go so far as to say it is the closest thing to an omnipotent spiritual entity you can physically appreciate. This card is a representation of that pure joy & life giving force the sun not only embodies, but provides in the here & now. After pushing through the last 19 cards, take a moment to bask in the joy of Now. Take time to pause, reflect on where you are in this moment and prepare to approach the decision of card XX and the outcome of card XXI. One of my reference books for this project notes the “wall” in the back as a representation of “accumulated knowledge”. Here I’ve replaced it with the Mother of accumulated knowledge, a nurse log with a troop of Mycena dancing on top! . Ramaria are also known as Coral Fungus, and they’re up there in my favorites. A particular species of bright pink Ramaria in the NW probably gets the award for “most time laying in the duff and ogling”. The little being sitting atop the coral is a Pseudoscorpion. If you’ve ever cleaned a heaping pile of mushrooms covered in forest floor debris, you might have noticed one of these wandering around in the mix. I love them. . #tarot #thesun #mushroomtarot #hereandnow #liveintgemoment #ramaria #pseudoscorpion #mushrooms #hongos #fungi #mushroomsarepeopletoo #mycophile #sporelust #crvdpls #chrisadams #illustration #drawing #penandink #solarpower (at Corvidopolis) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bqc1J7YnSnQ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1w7813vw3t6sl
