i’ve had this acc for so long literally since middle school and there’s still remnants of my previous phases embedded throughout the blog and i just wanted to hold on to those memories. but, the disorganization of this blog makes me literally itch so im just gonna start from scratch over there! bare with me while i fix everything up :)
hello ! i actually wanted to come on here to address something that i’ve seen a lot during my 3 years on tumblr & is actually the reason i left one of my previous blogs. as someone who is probably one of the heavier selfship blogs, i think people (readers & writers) have to realise that just because you talk about your favourite character or selfship more than someone else might — that doesn’t make that character any more yours than it does theirs.
as a bigger blog, this is unfortunately a narrative that i’ve had the displeasure of seeing because again, my selfship is pretty heavy in my posts / layouts / writing. people have to realise that not only do people have their own versions of these characters that they selfship with but also, these character aren’t real. you can’t own a fictional character and if you truly believe that’s possible just because someone may have more followers or speak / write more about them than others, then i really do recommend seeking out more irl relationships instead of the parasocial ones you seem to have grown so toxically attached to.
i understand people gatekeep and that’s a completely different issue entirely but my problem is with people taking it upon themselves to push their way into a writers safe space on someone else’s behalf because “__ spoke about nagi first & now you’re copying them.” “__ belongs to __ you can’t talk about them.” knowing fine well that it’s only going to bring unease and simply ruin someone’s fun especially when a lot of people selfship for comfort reasons.
you can enjoy and support someone’s selfship without having to ruin someone else’s.
i don’t want to drag on because i really don’t care much for discourse on my blog but all i want to stress is that if you’re gatekeeping someone else’s selfship, odds are you’re ruining it. i’m in my 20’s and if you truly think i’m going to have issues with someone because they like the same character as me i can assure you that’s not the case — you’re not ‘stepping on toes’ because your mutual likes that character too, they’re probably happy to see someone else talking / posting about their favourite.
i promise you’re not going to die if you let people enjoy themselves.

ive seen hard of hearing bakugo but what about fully deaf bakugo
after an accident, bakugo wakes to find the world unusually silent. his voice, the hospital chaos, the familiar, comforting pips of his quirk: all replaced by a high, droning whine.
its aggravating to see his friends learn sign language faster than him, leaving him behind in a strangely quiet and isolated world....
"Silence," Bakugo signs it with unsteady hands, pausing at the bottom of his movement to think, "-is loud."
"How so?" you sign as you speak, letting him watch your hands and mouth.
"What-" he shakes his head angrily at himself, disappointed he chose the wrong word, "When- when-"
He balls his hands into fists tight enough they quiver from the force. Sign language has his own structure and rules; learning them takes time and patience Bakugo refuses to have. Instead of trying again, he pulls out his phone, angrily typing in the notes before shoving in the screen in your face.

Bakugo has refused to speak since Denki made a comment his voice sounds different now; Bakugo isn't quite sure what that means, but the fact he'll never learn keeps him up at night.
