#tbt to the many cold and snowy days spent exploring the Roan bald’s. (at Roan Mountain, Tennessee)
After driving up the mountain in snow and in the clouds, I was treated at the viewpoint with blue skies.
Another shot of Catawba falls from a couple weekends ago. (at Catawba Falls)
Super excited for my man @johntclark123 and his new fiancé Tracy! I was lucky enough to witness and photograph their big day. We were also graced by nature’s decision to drop almost a foot of snow, though I wasn’t complaining. (at Boone, North Carolina)
Got to visit Catawba falls this past weekend for the first time. The multi tiered cascading waterfall is a welcomed sight now that fall is over. (at Catawba Falls)
And another view... the pools of dark blue water were at least 10 feet deep at certain points.
While on thanksgiving I happened to remember reading about a cool waterfall hidden away somewhere in Ohio. Looked it up and it was 15 mins down the road, so my cousin @thefishmonster and I jumped in the car to check it out.
Islands in the ocean.
Got lucky with three days off blue skies and starry nights in Southern Ohio. #goodoldfreshair
The last few leaves hang on in the high country. #goodoldfreshair
Finally getting around to editing more of my photos from earlier this fall. This one is from Boone Fork creek off of the blue ridge parkway. It’s not super pronounced, but I love the movement of the leaves spinning in the water. #goodoldfreshair (at Blue Ridge Parkway)
The Linville Gorge looking south.
A sea of cloud filling in the valley below. I had not seen a day like this in the mountains before and I can’t wait for the next time.
Sitting in my new office thinking about which photos are gona go in the wall and how I’m still gona be able to make it outdoors.
I love passing this view of table rock every time I head back home from the mountains. (at Linville Gorge Wilderness)
Recent rain has made the colors pop over the bridge to rough ridge.
