Reflecting on having this blog for a bajillion years
There's a lot here going on!
I'm willing to admit I was just doing some self preservation by going through my posts and privatizing some of my more regrettable pictures/videos/textposts. While doing that, I realized just how weird it is that I've had a blog since I was 13 years old. That's crazy, that was 12 years ago!
The sad part is how I acted, and how much (now archived) information I put out there. That's not y'all's business or problem, but I think I was too young to understand that.
I literally walked through my greatest fears going chronologically through my blog, and I was certainly sure to let everyone know what was going on at those times, so long as it didn't go against TOS. lol
That being said, I want to start focusing on the stuff that I'm happy about. Even after all of these years, my life is imperfect, but I've wired enough of my brain at my old age to be able to practice at least a bit of gratitude.
I'm happy I'm able to hold onto what precious memories there are of my youth here through archival, I'm happy I'm enough of a hater to have only liked one band with my whole heart my entire life, and I'm happy you're still here to give me a chance to be as pleasant as I am irl.
My music collection is my pride and joy, I play with my synthesizer in my free time for fun (not for money), I finished a 4-year college degree in 2.75 years, cyborg noodle is still my wife/girlfriend, and I'm generally pretty happy. yay!
