I want a legit explanation as to why people get so up in arms when it comes to feminism. Why do you hate it? How is feminism hurting society? Please explain your reasoning.
1. Feminism is one of many movements and groups that claims to support gender equality. However because people belive that feminism is all powerful and untouchable, they refuse to be critical of it, judging the movement by the definition it gave itself instead of its actions.
2. Feminist progessors, feminist politicians, feminist activists, social media feminists, and basically Feminism as a whole, has a very skewed perception of gender equality that even the movement itself cannot decide on. Many Feminists taught in gender studies classes, award winning feminists, and those with high praise and power have admitted to a bias and hatred of men. Karen Ingala Smith specifically discourages helping male victims of rape and domestic violence in the name of feminism, and is still considered a great feminist by high standing feminist organizations. Valerie Solonas wrote about dreams of male genocide and has some of her books taught in feminism and women’s studies classes. Freaking mattress girl, who made a baseless accusation is considered a feminist hero despite almost all of her claims to have been proven false.
3. Feminism has pushed for literal inequality in multiple countries. For example, India and Isreal were pushing for gender neutral rape definitions that would punish women for rape just like they do men. Womens rights groups, female politicians, and especially feminists successfully fought against this, basically stating that this wasn’t an equality that they wanted. They even acknowledged the incredibly high false rape accusation rate (50-80% in some parts of these countries), and instead of acknowledging that as a serious problem, instead simply stated that women should have to deal with that. Despite this being a clear gender inequality that more than half of the world allowed (gendered rape and domestic violence laws that only punch male offenders), this was not handled well by feminism. That isnt the only thing. Fightong against womens prisons while pushing for more male ones in the UK, foghting for even more lenience for female criminals, fighting for a monopoly on government funding of health research and abuse/rape shelters in first world countries, ect. Feminism often fights for inequality as long as it helps women. By claiming that what they are doing is equality, people avoid being critical of feminist actions. This has bad results.
4. Feminism often hurts women as well. Feminism pushes for gendered laws that punish men more than women or paint the man as the sole aggressor. A good example of that is gendered rape posters and the “teach men not to rape” narrative that excludes female rapists. It is to the point that if an intoxicated couple gave intercourse, the man is assumed the rapist while the woman is assumed the victim. At the same time, we refuse to call women who do the exact same thing rapists. Women who drug men and and have sex with them, women who have sex with their students, mothers who have sex with their children, Comedians like Amy Schumer who openly admitted to having sex with a blackout drunk guy, often aren’t called rapists. Media often dances around the word by saying “forced sex”, intercourse with an child", or “sexual relations” instead of just calling it rape like they do for guys. This means that women’s children won’t get appropriate justice. This makes women appear weak. This makes them seem like people who require a lighter hand when punishment is in order.
5. Feminism pushes false statistics and facts. Things like “feminism hot you the right to vote so you should be a feminist”. Multiple states already granted women the right to vote without land before feminism gained any influence and without feminism, things would have progressed about the same. Feminists back then however used racism and violence to get what they wanted. They were mad that black men could legally vote without land before white women. Feminism got support from the kkk and even used violence to get points across. Womens voting rights could have arguably progressed better without Susan b Anthony or feminism.
Feminism spreads false rape statistics like those produced by Mary Koss. Mary Koss doesn’t belive women are capable of raping or sexually assaulting a man and doesn’t believe men can be victims of these crimes someone with this clear admitted bias should not be a feminist professor teaching “equality” and should not be allowed to produce gender studies like her 1 in single digit rape statistics and especially not the Deluth method (that thing in the US that creates an even stronger bias against male victims of domestic violence and gives women more lenience.) Anita Sarkeesian, Zoe Quinn, and other Internet feminists who have been caught sending themselves harrassment and spreading hatred of males for donations should not be given a seat to speak at the women’s UN on the topic of feminism. These people who get caught lying more often than Mitt Romney should not be held in such high esteem in feminism. And yet they are.
6. Ultimately, the real problem is the fact that so few people are critical of feminism. These horrible feminists would not be much of a problem if there were more good feminists than bad ones. The few feminists willing to speak out against the bad actions in feminism or those who honestly work to help men too without blaming them get kicked out of feminism. People respond with “they aren’t real feminists” whenever anyone is critical of it or gets caught being bad. Feminism can push inequality and false information with no problem because no one dares question it. #killallmen? #endfathersday? The M&M analogy that was repated over and over to justify being scared of men for years, but was suddenly offensive when Trump used the exact same thing but towards refugees? These are common with the movement. Inequality, hypocrisy, misandry, ect.
People judge the movement on the actions of its members. People judge it on how the movement reacts to issues and it’s own actions. Unfortunately modern feminists have dissapointed when it comes to being critical. They are so tied up in demanding people join their group that they don’t put nearly enough effort into making it a group worth joining.
We support equality, but are not feminists. If you actually support equality, you shouldn’t have a problem with this. If you care more about us not using your label than you care about our actions towards equality, then you are part of why people choose not to support feminism. Throwing out the definition the movement gave itself isnt going to change our minds. There are lot of crappy feminists with power and influence who are getting away with pushing all kinds of inequality. Focus on that instead of why people aren’t in your group. Please.

Alleged Columbia rapist is calling himself a victim of gender discrimination
On Monday, Columbia graduate Emma Sulkowicz’s alleged rapist Paul Nungesser filed a 100-page complaint against the university that said he was a victim of gender-based harassment, sexual harassment and gender-based discrimination. The document is Nungesser’s latest effort to revive a lawsuit he filed last April alleging that the university had violated Title IX in permitting Sulkowicz’s activist art project “Carry That Weight” to occur on campus.
We seriously live in a world where rapists can get away with rape, not get arrested, not get suspended, not get expelled, but when the rape victim stands up to her rapist and her college campus that will not take any disciplinary action against him, he cries “gender discrimination.” This sickens me to my core. THIS IS WHY WE NEED FEMINISM.
We need feminism because someone can be accused of rape with no evidence, with the accuser having been caught in multiple lies, resulting in money, publicity, free grades, and blind support.
We need feminism because guilty until proven innocent is encouraged.
We need feminism because a boy was harrassed for a crime that he was merely accused of, but had his name and face plastered everywhere and has the label of a criminal without actually being convicted.
We need feminism because women can blatantly lie about a serious crime, and ruin someone’s life, no questions asked. Where they can get blind support just for being female. Where the word of one girl has more weight than an overwhelming amount of evidence proving the accuser wrong, including text messages in her own phone. Where emotion holds more weight than evidence and facts.
If this is really why you need feminism, you really don’t need feminism.

One of these cunts got only a 2 year suspended sentence, and one only got 12 months for abusing children repeatedly, which is also suspended. One is avoiding jail for CHILD ABUSE because she has a CHILD. A BOY. They care more about her being isolated than her fucking infants safety.
IMAGINE if a man abused young girls then avoided jail because he had a young girl. This is fucking ridiculous.
