Salem hated Galas. He really reallyyy hated them. They were always full of rich parents and their snobby kids trying to figure out who had more money is what it always felt like. Selina making him go to one wasn't completely out of the ordinary BUT ON HIS OWN??? This was new. So, here he was all nice and dressed up in a room of fancy people he didn't know, aka he was on board. And the only way to fix that obviously was to scope out the entire mansion he was in, trying to see if he could snag anything that looked remotely expensive. He turned down a hallway checking behind him to make sure nobody was following him, not expecting to bump into anyone when he made the turn.

"Oh! I am so sorry!"

He quickly said, faking innocence.

Spencer was- unnervingly used to people bumping into him, especially at gala’s. If people didn’t see him they’d awkwardly scoot past the ‘random object’ if they did see her they’d mumble and ‘excuse me’ and still push past her ( maybe even touch her handles…he really needed to get spikes.)

“You’re fine,” She smiled up at him, her Jersey accent smothered out with one fit her designer dress, she kinda sounded like Jane Russell…

“Pardon me but you look…familiar. Do I know you?”
