Two years after fem!reader was kidnapped by the joker and plunged into a criminal underworld, her peaceful life in a rural town states away from Gotham's poison is interrupted by a frantic plea for help. A series of attacks has the city on the brink of collapse, leaving the GCPD and the Batman desperate for answers, threatening to drag her back into the world she thought she had escaped for good.
