Wonder Woman (2017)
Steve Trevor: "I can't let you do this."
Wonder Woman: "What I do is not up to you."
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you.... the Justice League!!!
"You think the four of you can save New York? You can't even save yourselves."
"It's hard to think with a head full of rain. They have nailed me to the cross oak and when I walk I drag it behind me. I am the Electric Messiah, the Descender, locked away in this dark room, in this dark century. They have maimed and imprisoned The Divine King. Is it any wonder the world sickens and dies?"

My Opinion On Tom Holland's Portrayal of Spider-Man
Hello, tumblr. It is I, Phillip aka Goth Spider-Man with another superhero-related post (who doesn’t love those?). Today I am going to tell you how I felt about the latest live action version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
I want to start this off by saying that I am a HUGE Spider-Man fan and I have been since I was four-years-old. He’s my favorite superhero ever and not a day goes by where I don’t think about him.
Sooooo as a huge Spidey fan, I gotta say that Tom Holland was fucking AWESOME as Spider-Man!!! Seriously, there was nothing that I didn’t like about him. He’s perfect.
Now, I loved Tobey Maguire’s portrayal in Sam Raimi’s trilogy. He was very relatable and he captured Peter’s shy and nerdy side. I also loved Andrew Garfield’s version of the character. He was very entertaining to watch on the screen and he was funny as hell. But, in my opinion, Tom had all of those characteristics and he pulled them off very well.
In Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man is a fifteen-year-old teenager who talked a lot when he wore the mask. I thought these were great aspects of the MCU Spider-Man, but I’ve heard complaints about these characteristics. For starters, Peter being fifteen means we get to see him grow up and become more experienced in the future. As for his tendency to talk a lot, he does this because he was very excited to be in a fight with other superheroes. I find that very amusing. Another point that I’d like to make is that in the comics, Spider-Man would often talk a lot to annoy his opponents so that they would make mistakes out of irritation, thus giving him the upper hand. That’s just part of his character.
Another thing that I liked about this version of Spidey is that he wasn’t an experienced fighter. He’s only been a superhero for six months and he wasn’t exactly a martial artist. Instead, he relied on his strength, speed, and agility to overpower his enemies. He was able to overpower Bucky’s metal arm (y'know, the same one that Captain America struggled with) and admire it. He was also able to use Giant-Man’s size against him by webbing his legs together until he couldn’t move. This shows that he is very intelligent when it comes to coming up with strategies to defeat powerful opponents.
I also really loved his relationship with Tony Stark. Stark recognized himself in Peter due to their love for science (he was impressed by his web shooters and the fact that he invented them himself) and their similar sense of responsibility. Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. worked well together and their scene in Peter’s apartment is a scene I will cherish forever.
In conclusion, Tom Holland is easily my favorite actor to play Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the big screen. He was funny as hell and very likable. In my opinion, he stole the show in Civil War and even though he wasn’t in it for too long, it was enough for me to get even more excited for his solo movie next year. Oh, and his costume is awesome. It looks so cool!!
THIS. ALL OF IT.
I'm glad you agree, fellow Spidey fan!! :)
Fun fact: I’m an artist. I’m pretty good if I do say so myself. Here’s a couple of my drawings of my own version of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man.
Basically, he’s a goth who lost his Uncle Ben (much like the 616 version of the character). He’s really into poetry and he loves black clothes. He enjoys going to the cemetery alone because that’s where he finds comfort. He’s also bisexual.
I think these drawings turned out pretty well. I also really like the way they look and I like design of the costume. Oh, and I showed one of these drawings to Gerard Way on Twitter and he was very impressed!! That was a great moment in my life! I hope you guys like my drawings :)
@gothspider-man You’re fucking awesome
THANK YOU!!! That means a lot to me!!

PSA
It’s trans, not trans*
It’s trans men and trans women, not transmen and transwomen—trans is an adjective that answers “what kind of men/women"—cis works the same way
Never call trans men FTMs or trans women MTFs without their permission
Trans is short for transgender, it’s not plural for anything—trans person and trans people are both correct
Never use “born in the wrong body” or “used to be a boy and became a girl” or “biologically/genetically male/female”—all are just fancy ways to misgender someone (self identification with these phrases is different)
Transgendered is wrong, so is “a transgender” and “transgenders”
Being trans is not a sexuality nor is it a “sexual disorder” or any kind of disorder at all—gender identity disorder is not a real thing, and being trans isn’t a medical condition
“Transsexual” is generally considered an offensive term and should never be used to describe someone without their permission
Don’t refer to a trans person’s gender as their gender identity, it’s just their gender
Similarly don’t refer to their pronouns as “preferred pronouns"—they’re not preferred, they’re mandatory

Hela is coming.

About fucking time!
HELA’S GOING TO BE IN THE MCU???
Yes, she will indeed be appearing in the MCU!! I have a good feeling that she's gonna be one of my favorite MCU villains :)

I really like this part in The Avengers where Natasha breaks the chair and breaks the guy's hand and overall, breaks all the bad guys' spirits.
