I really wish we got to see more of like a scarier human and demon dynamic. Like, I feel like they couldāve leaned into more of like an uncanny valley kinda things, because they look like humans but arenāt. And the fact that demons directly harm humans? Couldāve put in some type of like instinctive fear that mc and the guys have to get over to get closer, ykwim?
ANYWAYS, I especially like this concept with Mammon, because heās the least scary one out of all the demonsā¦seeing as heās the only one who never hurts or kills you. I donāt wanna change that or make him more aggressive, I just think there would be some inherent dread about getting close to him and his brothers.
I imagine you can get over it or learn to ignore it pretty quick, since youāre living with all of them. The feeling goes away quicker with Mammon, because you feel safest with him and heās the first demon you make a pact with. The icky feeling in your stomach slowly dissipates over time as you become friends, then something more.
BUUUTā¦it comes back stronger than ever whenever you and Mammon are getting more intimate.
The first time it happens, youāre both terrified. Youād deepened the kiss more than usual, pressing closer until he pulled you onto his lap. In the rare privacy of his room, things hot heated quickly, more so than usual. Mammonās hands caressed your waist and hips at first, but when you started grinding down on him and his grip tightenedā¦something in you screamed to get away.
You lurched back, eyes wide and frightened while your hands gripped his wrists tight to pull them off. Mammon stopped immediately, of course, and you both stayed frozen for a moment as your actions sunk in. Once they had, he immediately let go and spoke up all confused, scared heād somehow hurt you without realizing it. It took a second to calm him down, to explain that you hadnāt meant to pull back, it justā¦happened.
Well, the mood was ruined after that. Mammon got all serious about it, looking in every book on humans in the library for some type of explanation. You spent more time thinking about it before finally landing on an explanation. The feeling was exactly like the one you first got whenever you got here- icky and cold- but so much stronger. This time, it was heavy, an uncontrollable urge to fight and push and run away from the inherent danger that is your very docile demon boyfriend.
Once you both come to the conclusion that intimacy with him caused some type of survival instinct to trigger, Mammon is painfully careful with you. Every touch is slow, every kiss is controlled, and he never pushes for more. Like, ever.
Only when you get impatient do you demand him to give you more. You have to sit him down and explain very clearly that you are not scared of him. You trust him more than anyone. Itās just an uncontrollable little tick, an involuntary instinct that you try your best to push down. It takes a lot of convincing, but eventually Mammon is open to justā¦āignoringā it if you try to jerk away, but he focuses intently on differentiating between instinctive movements and intentional ones.
Itās hard for him at first, because he never wants you to be scared of him. It almost hurts when you flinch or jerk or squirm or tear upā¦but, wellā¦Mammon has instincts too.
God, heās ashamed of how hard it makes him. He feels his mouth water when you grab his wrists. His pupils dilate when you flinch. He bites down a growl when you gasp or whimper in fear. His eyes glow a greedy gold when you squirm away. His grip tightens when you try to push back against him. And his cock throbs when you tear up and cry. Yeah, you have to fight down your instincts, but so does Mammon. I mean, you wouldnāt feel the need to run if he didnāt feel the need to possess.
He swears up and down that it doesnāt happen, that he has more control than thatā¦but you both know heās lying. Mammon gets off on your instinctive fear, because his own instincts crave it. It feels almost gross at first, almost a bitā¦morally concerning. But then you both realize that even if thereās some primal little predator-and-prey kinda thing going on, you both trust and love each other enough that itās completely consensual. Once again, he goes painfully slow. You both hash out all the details together- boundaries, safe-words, pain thresholds. Itās extremely important to Mammon that you both know exactly how far you can go with this before it gets potentially dangerousā¦Dangerous for you, that is, because once you both get comfortable it can get intense.
Mammon is never overly rough, of course, but he uses your instincts to his advantage. Heāll corner you on purpose, snickering at the way you shrink back but blush and beg so prettily for him. One of his hands will pin both your wrists down, not budging an inch as you desperately try to tug out of his grip, meanwhile youāre moaning his name. His sharp teeth will graze over your neck, over that soft part that would bleed out if he bit it hard enough. You know heād never do it, but it makes you tear up and sob quietly even as you squeeze around his cock.
And of courseā¦his actual demon form. The most drastic change isnāt his physical appearanceā¦itās the aura he exudes. It gets so much stronger when heās like this- really the Avatar of Greed. The dread crawls up your spine, covering your body in goosebumps and making you feel all clammy. Your brain goes fuzzy with fear even when heās across the room, eyes wide and feet instinctively stumbling back. Mammon watches you, approaching carefully to assess your feelings but grinning lightly at the sight of you. He canāt help the way he just loves seeing a human cower before him, especially in his true form.
Youāre in tears before he even touches you, your brain screaming ārun, run, RUNā despite the way you reach for him. Mammon coos and wipes your tears, making sure you still want him before pulling you closer and locking his arms around you so you canāt run. You grab at him with shaking hands, knees nearly giving out from how powerful the fear is, and yet youāve never been more turned on.
I feel like Mammon would get more and more cocky about it as he gets more turned on and more into it, soft coos turning to teases. āYa okay? Mammon watches fondly, a low growl building in his throat that he quickly pushes down. Heās not really hunting you, no no no. Never. Heās justā¦playing with you. And when itās his turn, heās behind you in an instant. It almost feels like he teleported there, but heās just that fast. An embarrassing shriek leaves your lips as he hugs you snugly back against him mid-stride. It doesnāt even hurt because heās always so gentle, his hands caressing your waist as he murmurs reassurances in your ear and presses his bulge against your ass.
But, of course, heās still Mammon. Once youāre both all fucked-out and exhausted, heās immediately helping you calm down and relax. Heād clean you up all gently, whispering now and rubbing gently at your flinching legs and hands. You keep your eyes shut, focusing on steadying yourself and feeling the weight in your chest slowly dissipate. Once youāre clean, heād get in bed and comfort you until the trembling stops completely, massaging your hips and kissing your head.
It takes a little bit, but he always gets you back down to earth. Itās an amazing display of trust, really, the way you cling to him even when everything in your body wants to get away from him. But Mammon cherishes that trust, and heād rather die than betray itā¦which is why heāll never tell you how much of a handle he really has to keep on his own instincts.

When you sleep with Mammon heāll always have a death grip on you. It doesnāt hurt at all but itās just very hard to wiggle your way out of his embrace when he sleeps. Good luck trying to get the bathroom, youāll probably have to wake him up and even then heāll need at least 5 minutes in bed before he lets go and ultimately follows you to the bathroom, forcing you to push him out the room so you can have privacy. He canāt help it, heās tired and even more clingy in this state. When you get out heāll up and carry you back like heās holding a stuffed animal, and heās so warm and with skin so soft, youāll just fall back asleep before you even reach the bed.
From the very first day you entered RAD, Lucifer tells you that when Mammon starts to take a liking to someone, fortune follows them around. You didnāt think much of it back then. Mostly because Mammon clearly hated you at first. He called you stupid, annoying, useless. He refused to say your name and always calling you āhumanā. You never once thought someone like that could ever like you.
But Lucifer ordered Mammon to stay close to you, and slowly, things changed. He started hanging around without complaining as much even to the point where he helped you with the TSL quiz willingly.
And then strange things began to appear in your room. A shirt that was definitely not yours, a D.D.D. charger you never bought, a small stack of Grimm on your desk and even a deck of cards tucked into a drawer. Sometimes he even let you keep the grimm which shocked you.
As time passed and you grew closer, a random gifts start to appear outside of your door. You thought it was a prank the first time until you opened it. Inside was a real gift. Another time, it was jewelry, and you froze because it looked far too expensive to be random. Sometimes it was just Grimm.
What you didnāt know was that Mammon watched every time. Hiding just out of sight, peeking around corners, heart racing as he waited to see your reaction. He didnāt understand why he cared so much, only that he did. He laughed quietly when you stared at the jewelry in shock. When he won tons of grimm from gambling, his first thought is about what he could bring for you on the way home.
Eventually, you figured it out. And one day, Mammon found a small gift outside his door too. He stared at it for a long time before picking it up with a warm cheeks realizing that his fortune had finally turned on him too.
I know a lot of Obey Me! players make their MC an oc but my MC is just a self insert š I always imagined myself in the game instead of making a character for itā¦but sometimes I like to imagine myself looking a little different (having my complete dream wardrobe, more ear piercings, maybe a tattoo, or dyed hairā¦I really want to dye my hair dark purple). But again, majority of the time I imagine my present self in the game.
Obey me characters are definitely the type to search up a symptom on Google and fall for it.
I can totally see one of them searching up mc's illness symptoms and or ask Google as to why their human is feeling under the weather or smth, and get insanely concerned when Google pulls up with the "these are signs of early stage cancer, it is not to be treated lightly as it is life threading ".
Don't think they would've fallen for it had it not concerned mc cause they're pretty informed about things relating to their species, but with conditions concerning humans they'd deffo be panicking.
Whenever I think about MC getting drunk with any of the characters, I just imagine them having to buy alcohol from the human world beforehand because Devildom alcohol has no effect on humans lolol. MC would have to visit the human world with one of the characters or have somebody pick up a bottle for them. Usually for an event involving alcohol or just for fun!
my favorite mc/mammon dynamic everrrr is w an mc thatās just a little obsessed with mammon from the jump. heās their comfort demon immediately despite how abrasive mammon was at the beginning, hanging off his arm at all times even when he tries to shake them off. does he get annoyed by it at first? sure. but the closer they become, the more his chest swells with pride when āwhereās mc?ā is the first question someone asks him on the rare occasions they arenāt joined at the hip. he starts grinning widely when people start saying āmc and mammonā like itās one name instead of two. and when they finally kiss for the first time, and mammon stammers a flustered āya better not be doinā this with anyone else, ya hear?!ā, he has no reason to doubt mcās sincerity when they nod and declare that heās the only demon for them
