I don’t think it’s happening, unless Tim can see logic and reasoning. All the Hufflepuffs are down on me for being “too mean” and “bullying” him.
Then we’re going to have to do it ourselves. Honestly, if Maya had a tumblr, I would take one for the team, sneak on her computer and delete it, so I don’t see what’s so bad about asking them to do the same with Will.
I’ve always loved the aspect of dressing up as fictional characters, and the candy of it all – and now I’ve learned that even the masquerade ball can be fun, too. Oh? Well, I still need to figure out the entire ‘drinking’ thing and how well I’ll do with it, and you say I don’t look good in green, so St. Patrick’s day probably won’t garner the same kind of enthusiasm from me that it gets from you. You’ve liked some of the new things! Which ones were that terrible that you’re still sitting around thinking of how terrible they are? Oh my gosh, how did you make that first year cry? What did you do? But I think that’s the best way to do resolutions, honestly – aspire to new things instead of just giving up the old ones, then it feels more like a punishment. I guess you’re a lot taller than I am, but there must be trainer brooms even for tall people, right?
Having their crush dress as their favourite fictional character to woo them, apparently does wonders for that I hear. That’s only because you haven’t really given it a shot (oh Merlin, I made an unintentional pun. I blame Hopkins for this) and it won’t matter that green’s not your colour because everyone will be in green. Only some. Most of the stuff I hated. Ugly Christmas Sweaters are terrible. Why do people wear them if they know they’re ugly? And I will keep burning every sprig of mistletoe I see until the day I die. Same way I always do, I yell at them when they get in my way. Why do you always assume that I did something. This is my first year trying, so I guess I’ll find out soon enough if that’s true. Becca, let it go. I’m not getting on a broom ever.

I wasn’t saying it had to be Christmas spirit! There are loads of other holidays, you know, Lo. Although I’m sure I won’t have to put up much of a fight to get you to celebrate Halloween, will I? You can blame me if you want, I refuse to be ashamed of introducing you to the joys of New Year’s resolutions. I saw the word spiraled and worried you’d fallen down the stairs, Lo, don’t scare me like that! The wait is over, I know you were sitting on the edge of your suspense waiting: here’s my list. I sort of cheated and picked two that I have almost all year to figure out if I’ve broken or not, since I picked things I want to do more so than things I don’t want to do anymore. We should go flying on those baby brooms that never get more than three feet off the ground and investigate that claim, because I still maintain that I’m worse.
Of course not, because Halloween is awesome. Who doesn’t love a holiday that’s centred around dressing up and eating sweets? And you know what else is amazing? St. Patrick’s Day. Where I get to wear an extra helping of green and drink when I’m not in class. I would complain less about you introducing me to new things if I actually liked those new things. What? No! I just made a first year cry. No big deal. I’d tell you off for cheating if it weren’t for the fact that my last resolution is one I can’t break until the end of this year because it’s a work in progress one. As far as a life coach, I am a terrible, awful choice. You might not know this, but between the two of us, I am also only 15 and make spontaneous decisions that are zero percent productive but always fun.
There’s no need to make me any scarier than I already am. I’m already adequately terrifying enough that the first years approach me last when it comes to choosing a prefect for help. I’m not going to lie and say it won’t happen, because it could, but if it does I’ll try to always remember the little people who got me here. You’re only 15? Say what? I thought you were 50 and able to help me with my life choices. Now who’s going to help me run my cool life?

… Because you’re sort of unpleasant and standoffish on the outside, but on the inside you’re delicious and awesome. And the delicious and unpleasant are the kiwi, and the standoffish and awesome are the you because I’m pretty sure it’s weird to describe people as delicious.
