Cori is not a naturally occurring creature, having the appearance of a man but no structure of such within. Underneath the skin there is bone, muscle, ligaments and connective tissue, however the way that it is arranged is improper and by natural standards would be dysfunctional.
Sections of the body are able to be severed, but when bound back together are able to heal and continue functioning normally as if no damage had occurred.
There is no blood in the traditional sense. What does come out is a viscous fluid that is more pinkish in color than blood.
Upon interior observation there is no digestive tract or trace of other functioning organs aside from what appear to function as lungs. There is an esophageal opening that leads to a large hollow chamber that serves as a stomach. Whatever is ingested through the mouth or that enters through the nose and through the esophagus will naturally be transported to this chamber.
Once in the chamber, a viscous substance is secreted from the lining and slowly breaks down the contents over time. All nutrients are leeched from the contents and absorbed through the lining.
Since there is nowhere for the excess material to go, it comes back up out through the mouth as an odorless organic paste typically grey in color. However, sometimes not all of the paste is able to be expelled and can lead to build up over time with the inner chamber needing to be physically cleaned and maintained by hand.
