re-read Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore recently and appreciated how it took what could’ve been a standard scary fantasy power (ability to make people believe your lies) and fully ran with it
Quick painting practice with Queen Bitterblue 💙
Might work more on it later but I wanted to share regardless
I've been doing some book binding for fun lately and I rebound a thrifted paperback of Fire by Kristin Cashore today so enjoy some photos bc I'm obsessed with this fabric:
hava from seasparrow: finally characters whose personalities are as unpalatable as their upbringing
hava's memories of bellamew will haunt me all my days.
the truth is like blood underneath your fingernails, a mix for queen bitterblue of monsea
they have little reason to exist, except as a monument to the truth of all that's happened, and because they're beautiful. i suppose those are reasons to exist.
Katsa and Bitterblue all bundled up
Some new Bitterblue art from the Graceling book series! I love these types of characters oh my days. (I should stop drawing her sm in my sketchbooks cuz its going WILD)
Curly hair practice with one of my favorite heroines, Lady Fire from the Graceling series by Kristin Cashore.
Wanted to have a go drawing how Fire’s hair is described!
got this book on hold again just so i could listen to the part that devastated me and to my surprise my first guess at where it was was exactly the moment *after* it happened
Lady Fire.
my most beloved gracelings
i drew how i picture Katsa from the graceling books 💥😈💥😈
