Question for everyone, when was the first time you were introduced to the dance fandom and on what platform like Reddit, tumblr, YouTube etc that isn’t just that you watched dance moms like what was your pipeline to where you are now

mine was Everleigh joining OCPAA- OCPAA fandom on instagram- crazy 8s fandom- OCPAA mini army specifically Helena as she was close with Ev- Helena moving to Mather introduced me to them- Laci and rylee y moving to p21 introduced me to them

I’m interested to see where everyone else joined as I feel I am fairly behind

i was introduced via dance moms, and then i was obsessed with the rage when i was like 10, which then morphed into an ocpaa fan which then morphed into being a p21 fan which then morphed into being an all dance fan

and you aren’t behind, there aren’t any rules queen!

Dance moms and everleigh, I started watching solos the dance mom girls did at tda and evs ocpaa dances in 2019- then became a big crazy 8s fan and ocpaa in general-started following more dancers on insta- subscribed to carmo dance and was overwhelmed with how many videos were posted daily lol so unsubscribed- resubscribed to carmodance around March 2020- watched all the dances posted from tda and radix live- watched 2020 radix danceoff on livestream- followed all my favs on insta and watched comps from 2020 season onwards

This is so cool! I've also written a book similar to this (it hasn't been published yet) and have started a few others centered around comp dance. I plan to write many more books and book series abt comp dance in the future, (all fiction).

Definetly excited to read and be inspired by this one!! Love when two of my biggest passions combine dance and writing!! I've been doing creative writing with dance themes since I was 12 and it's my favourite thing to write about.
