I am autistic and have multiple mental health problems so please bear with me. This is kinda a rant post but anyways-

I absolutely HATE when people call The Creature "Frankenstein". HE DOESN'T HAVE A NAME... "Frankenstein" is Victor's last name, which if we're going with the option of The Creature technically being his son, it would be his last name too. But it's not his name, and I hate that pop culture just kinda looked at The Creature and not only called him by his father's last name, and then stripped away a lot of his interesting features from the actual book. Did you guys know that The Creature is actually decently smart and can read and comprehend not only emotions of characters in books, but also understand his own emotions? Probably not because most pop culture media that shows him depicts him as stupid. EVEN I CAN'T COMPREHEND MOST HUMAN EMOTIONS, INCLUDING MY OWN- But back to the rant- Victor literally ran away from The Creature after he realized maybe playing the role of God wasn't a good idea. The Creature was literally just brought into the world and the person that created him abandoned him for being "monstrous". Then Victor literally tries to destroy his own creation, dying before he can accomplish that. AND MOTHERFUCKERS ARE LIKE "YEAH LET'S CALL THE CREATURE FRANKENSTEIN" JUST KILL ME BRO... I'd be less mad if y'all just called him Adam, since that's the character he related to in one of the books he read. Or you could go the religious route and say "Well Victor was playing God and created a man, the first man God created was named Adam so-". I'm good with either one, just for fucks sake don't just call him Frankenstein to my face. I will literally fling myself into a fire like The Creature-

Okay so like in Greenhouse class today a handful of other students and I had to get rid of weeds with shovels, hoes, ect. So we're working, sweating, dying, when we hear this dumbass from workshop class who's working on the roof of one of those portable houses yell "Keep working or the master is going to whip you". Four Mexican kids, three black kids, one Puerto Rican(me), I could immediately tell his ancestors were the most Europeans to ever European. But that's not what shocked me. My friend in the JrROTC was also watching us. We talked after this and she said, "You're a natural, maybe you were both in the wrong generation."
