I’m graphoon, rougly a TMNT blog as I draw a lot of ninja turtles but I might start sharing some of my other stuff too in the future (If I even remember to share my art in the first place)

Style is REAL inconsistent cuz I’m newer to the whole art thing but getting there

the oil slick - chapter 1 (8.2k)

The first three fights that Leo throws down in the ring, he gets the shit thrashed out of him violently and unpleasantly. It's the first time Leo has felt anything in months, and it's enough for him to have forgotten how to move his limbs in the right way despite the footwork tracing the routine in his head. The poor translation frustrates him, something like how it feels to stare at kanji swimming on parchment; it almost makes him quit then and there.  The fourth fight, Leo pins down the opponent with splintered claws and blood on his teeth, and digs his knee into the soft stomach of the creature like it's destined to be a final resting place.  The grave maker, and the grave marker. What a strange feeling to be on the other end.  or: how leo’s self-imposed solo journey to japan leads him to getting kicked out of an underground fighting ring, kicked off of a pirate ship, and kicked down from the ideal of his family name.

art for the first chapter of my in-progress longfic! it's called the oil slick and is planned to be 24 chapters long, with four mini-arcs. the majority of the first arc has fully-written first drafts, so i'm currently hoping to update the fic with final drafts every week on mondays, with accompanying art for the chapter :)
