The Funeral/お葬式, dir. Juzo Itami (1984)
When I started this Tumblr I was 23.
I turned 36 a couple days ago.
Jesus...
“sorrow is nothing but worn out joy.”
The only thing I do know is that we have to be kind. Please, be kind. Especially when we don’t know what’s going on. EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE (2022) Dir. Daniel Kwan & Daniel Scheinert
“I just want to be part of something bigger. To be part of something important, something that lasts, that means something.”
Babylon (2022) dir. Damien Chazelle
Satan’s Rhapsody, Lyda Borelli.

Marriage Story
Holy shit
I started to play THE LAST OF US for the first time (the game), and after an hour it is just too stressful to continue for the night.
In 2007, I traded in my 2006 Fender Classic Series ‘65 Mustang Reissue for a Strat, and despite all I learned on that guitar, I’ve kicked myself ever since for letting go of the Mustang.
Miraculously I found one from that very line at Atomic Music & bought it today! It was made a year apart from the one I had originally, and it’s just a total player & a dream. Also the Crafted in Japan quality is still as slick & solid as I remembered it to be.

I am consciously trying to avoid the "great things are happening" project status type of update, but for just this once I would like to say that I am writing an album currently and am preparing to demo songs.
I had this moment while writing music tonight where I sang something a certain way and it reminded me of some band that I really don't like and it completely dismantled a song with rippling effects on others, like a windstorm blowing the scaffolding off of a building under construction.
Shit's painful, but I'm gonna rebuild.
