ok since some of you ppl said kuwei deserves hate in my post that soc fandom shouldn’t hate on him, give me a reason why. tell me right now why kuwei deserves hate other than the fact he kissed jesper and flirted with him WITHOUT knowing jesper liked wylan. tell me, please. id love to know.

and actually, is it even confirmed that Kuwei even knew Jesper meant to kiss Wylan?? it’s canon that in CK Jesper can tell the difference between them in literally every other situation - Kuwei even brings it up (“Why do you keep looking at Wylan? He and I have the same face.” - if Jesper wasn’t able to tell the difference, he would’ve just been staring at Kuwei). so why WOULDNT Kuwei expect this to still be true?? why WOULDNT he think that maybe, just maybe, the cute guy who, again, has repeatedly shown to be able to differentiate him from Wylan, would purposefully flirt with him? would purposefully kiss him? literally how could he have known??

I think it's also in part bad writing. Clearly he's the scape goat for the romantic plot twist. His characterization in KoS (as an arrogant upstart inferni) just add more flame to the hate.

Y'all, this was a stupidly fun papercraft to build. And it’s huge. 16 x 31 inches! (by comparison, the recent Wicked King papercraft is 11 x 14″) I really had fun experimenting with this one, especially with the colors. I limited my selections to vibrant reds and dulled blues/greys and really stretched the color contrast muscles. Paying homage to the brilliant book covers, I imbued a crow/cityscape with a collage of elements inspired by noir, art deco and M.C. Escher. And I’m super happy to let Nina finally have her waffles.

I’ve had this planned since early last year, and finally decided to build it in celebration of the King Of Scars release…but then Netflix dropped their news about the Grishaverse mini series!?! So let this papercraft be my mortal sacrifice to the book-adaptation gods to bless Leigh Bardugo and Eric Heisserer & crew on their venture!

having to be “mature” at a young age sucks bc you aren’t really “mature-mature” you’re a child playing at a maturity bc you don’t have the foundation to be the bigger person when conflict arrives so what you do is ignore it bc ignoring a problem and being happy about a resolution look the same to your inexperienced eyes. Then you get adults praising you for a development above your peers but you aren’t really developing. You’re stagnant. Your peers will grow up and experience things and make mistakes and grow from them but you will keep yourself in this box, ignoring things ignoring ignoring ignoring until one day you have to face the fact… it wasn’t maturity you had. It was fear. And now you’re an adult too and you make all of your choices based on an emotional risk/costs analysis bc you don’t know any emotion other than fear & you have to start healing from your own childhood by making peace that you weren’t really a mature child. You were just a child who was given too much to carry & didn’t know how to say “no”.

More on Comet Tokyo’s staging/seating

I’ve come across a few pictures that give you a clearer picture of what the Tokyo staging and seating all looks like, so here they are for those interested.

Rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD) is an extreme emotional sensitivity and emotional pain triggered by the perception – not necessarily the reality – that a person has been rejected, teased, or criticized by important people in their life. RSD may also be triggered by a sense of failure, or falling short – failing to meet either their own high standards or others’ expectations.

Dysphoria is Greek for “difficult to bear.” It’s not that people with ADHD are wimps, or weak; it’s that the emotional response hurts them much more than it does people without the condition.

When this emotional response is internalized, it can imitate full, major depression complete with suicidal ideation. The sudden change from feeling perfectly fine to feeling depressed that results from RSD is often misdiagnosed as rapid cycling bipolar disorder.

It can take a long time for physicians to recognize that these symptoms are caused by the sudden emotional changes associated with ADHD and rejection sensitivity, while all other object relations are totally normal.

When this emotional response is externalized, it looks like an impressive, instantaneous rage at the person or situation responsible for causing the pain. 50% of people who are assigned court-mandated anger-management treatment have previously unrecognized ADHD.

One more reblog for the road. I’ve seen at least eight people go “There’s a name for this?” as a result of sharing this link, and I want to try and reach even more. It’s so meaningful to me to know that there’s something going on, and that it’s not just me being inadequate at dealing with my emotions. When you consider the level of horror I feel over even minor screwups, my reactions are completely understandable. My feelings are valid.

For anyone else out there who cries over spilled milk, or at the drop of a hat? This might be worth a read.
