“That is not really a point in your favor right now.” The bared fangs that came with the threat were gone, again replaced by that false cordiality she’d had to cultivate over the years. Still, her arms remained crossed. She’d heard things, things she was very much hoping to find out were not based in any kind of truth. “When’s the last time you gave someone a badge who didn’t come at you with a Garchomp and a Mamoswine?”

Gym Leader Cynthia would like to battle!

Cynthia’s style, were she ever to become a gym leader, would be “place limitations on myself, based on the challenger’s skill, and then fight to my full capabilities within those limitations”. 

Dragon-types aren’t exactly plentiful in Sinnoh, so she would probably choose to be a Ground-type leader instead. Her TM would be Dig for newer trainers, EQ for ones who can handle themselves.

As for her team? Depends on how many badges the challenger has!

0-1: A newcomer! Nothing too rough. Gligar, Gible

2-3: Starting to understand that type match-ups are a little more complicated than “bring a Pokemon of the right type”. Wooper, Quagsire, Gabite.

4-5: Time to introduce weather! Welcome to the sandstorm. Hippopotas, Gligar, Hippopotas, Gabite

6-7: The full force of the sandstorm, exploited for all it’s worth. Hippowdon, Quagsire, Gliscor, Garchomp

8: A rematch! Well, then. Hippowdon, Quagsire, Gliscor, Gastrodon, Steelix, Garchomp

PWT: Oooh, access to Pokemon from other regions. Now it gets fun. Hippowdon, Krookodile, Gliscor, Excadrill, Mamoswine, Garchomp

did you read, like, anyone's rules that you followed? Both the korrina and the lysandre have in their rules that they're canon divergent and specific things not to do in threads and you did it to both

I did, but I was panicking a little bit, and was rushing to just get them out, without really making sure I knew who was who.

Okay, I answered all the starters! I am now officilly starting to feel like I’m overextending, so I’m gonna step away for a bit, work on some drafts on my other characters. I’ll probably still be lurking, but don’t expect any more replies for a bit.
