More done on the shoulders, sword, hand and axe. If it doesn’t look finished or polished, assume I haven’t touched it, or haven’t moved on to that particular detail. Some bits simply require me to do at the end, like jewels and certain golds and such because I need to get a sense of the colour balance before I can do that. Really pushing my technique as hard as I can with this model, and there are a lot of styles I’ve never done before as well as the size of the details, but every second is worth it. I’m learning more from this model than I’ve learned from everything I did in the majority of 2016, I feel.
