remembered this actually happened and it isn't something my mind made up
one of the best moments in the entire show
Happy Hamster Day🐹💛
they're twins separated at birth btw
Here is a compilation of Netflix Stranger Things queerbaiting examples that I found (and there's probably more)
They have a lot of fucking nerve telling us it was never even hinted at, that we were always just noise to them.
unpopular opinion
boyce > jopper
mike was just a self-insert. what the duffers meant by "a show for outcasts" they meant awkward white guys with nerdy interests who couldn't talk to women. it was no wonder that the only girl mike had a chance with was a girl who was so closed off from society that she didn't know what she wanted. there was no way they were going to give mike a gay romance with will because they're straight incel men. that's part of why mike had no real personality. they needed to project onto him.
they reduced his love to a crush. which he got over in hours. he never got to truly confess. he never got to be with the one person he wanted. oh will i’m so sorry 💔
i have never quite understood the phrase ‘putting salt on the wound’ until the used heroes for the credits…
Wow LOVED the part when El says 'I love you' to Mike just before she dies and he doesn't say it back even though that was their whole conflict last season. Great writing there.
time casts a spell on you but you won’t forget me
No Rovickie in the epilogue 💀
please for once in his life let him get what he wants
lord knows it would be the first time :(
Gay representation in this show:
A gay kid who spends the entire run of the show struggling with his gay identity and loving his best friend until the penultimate episode where he gets over it after being tortured psychologically. There's a hint he will eventually find happiness far from Hawkins, but even that is just a story his best friend is telling, so even that is up in the air.
A lesbian who has a hallway crush on someone she doesn't know, pines for a girl she thinks she can't have, gets together with her off screen, has one kissing scene with her, has a massive fight where she's accused of doing drugs before a literal monster attack proves her right, then they're never shown together again after a testy walkie talkie conversation, and she makes plans to move to Philadelphia with her three friends.
Dynamite job, Duffers.
they are canon to ME.
It was a 7. The queerbaiting. It got me
annoys me when ppl act like theyre better for not caring abt ships
