when regulus started his first year of hogwart, no one suffered more than narcissa

she was really excited to see her baby cousin everyday at school, really excited. that was before regulus immediately walked up to lucius malfoy and told him: "my cousin thinks your hair looks nice"

and everyday since, regulus would casually tell lucius embarrassing little things like that, wether it was about how much narcissa talked about him during break or the stack of letters she spent hours writing to him. it was like all of sudden regulus had no filter (in hindsight, growing up with only his family around it made sense that he didn't think before he spoke)

what narcissa didn't know was that all those little things regulus told lucius, well, they gave him enough courage to ask out narcissa. if regulus' words were to be trusted then it meant that narcissa fancied lucius as much he fancied her

this is just one of the many reasons why narcissa and lucius absolutely adore regulus

oh my god I love this question.

- regulus is lowkey kind of a stalker when it comes to barty, he reads the daily prophet everyday without fail just in case barty got mentioned or photographed, he memorised barty's insane class schedule and all my mutuals know about the barty shrine regulus has

- barty is a very big qudditch fan (this is actually confirmed in gof!!) so he always drops by to watch regulus' qudditch practices; he says it's because he likes studying the game plays but for some reason his eyes never seem to leave a certain seeker. he also never misses regulus' games

- regulus subtly asks his mother if the crouch's are on the guest list for whatever function his family is attending/hosting. walburga thinks her son is just very interested in politics, she doesn't the very obvious heart eyes her son is sending the crouch boy

- regulus sneaks into the ravenclaw dorms most nights to see barty, it doesn't matter how stupid or ridiculous the riddle is, he'll always answer it if it means he can see his boyfriend

- the one time barty snuck into the slytherin dorms, he used his invisibility cloak (another canon thing from gof) and scared the shit of regulus that night by pretending to be nearly headless nick (regulus was not amused)

- barty runs warm, regulus runs cold; the two of them perfectly neutralise the other's body temperature

- barty is very good at potions, even better at smuggling ingredients so sometimes him and regulus try and make random potions. it usually ends up with the potion blowing up in their face

- barty is regulus' only friend, it sounds pathetic but it's true. regulus does have other people he considers friends but they're all his family members (bellatrix, narcissa, lucius) so it doesn't really count. regulus deeply values this friendship with barty, he's the only ever person that understands him inside and out
