Ignacio JD Drummer (Ignacio Jiménez Díaz) was born in Granada, Andalucia (Spain). He started to play at age of 14 after being tutored by Erik Jiménez (Enrique Morente, Los planetas, Lagartija Nick, Omega...) He started givingdrum lessons in the same school that he learnt and eventually moved on to working with three different music schools around Spain for several years.

He´s a progressive drummer and percussionist living in Berlin for the past year. He´s a member of Four Doors (Hardcore band featuring more artist from Greenhouse Berlin). He also spends his time writing music at the studio and busking on Berlin´s streets with Yoni the bassist (also based in Greenhouse Berlin).

Ignacio has been featured on recording sessions and performances all around Spain with such of different bands and artist as AER, Delamarca, Veronica´s Aggressive State, Sentencia and more.

He has played on stages that have featured artists such as Children of Bodom, Grave Digger, Bersuit Vergarabat, Sôber, Hora Zulú, Siniestro Total, GBH, Chambao, O´funk´illo, Soziedad Alkohólika, Niños Mutantes, SFDK, Medina Azahara and more worldwide artists.

Rasmus Erasmus

Bio:

Rasmus is a young Swedish producer based in Berlin, in love with simplicity and cold, gray aesthetics, obsessed with detail and depth. He started his musical journey playing in hardcore, punk and garage bands in his hometown Skövde, and after some years of experimenting with music and instruments he discovered electronic music and started to dj in parties. A few years ago he decided to focus 100% on his music and production and made the move to the beautiful city of Berlin, where he has found an amazing environment for musicians and artists from all over the world, getting involved in different projects and collectives around town.

Todd Goldfinger 

Comedian/ Writer/ Artistic Director/ Actor

An outrageous comedian and writer with an incredible life story. Todd describes himself as a jewish sarcastic, neurotic, existentialist, self loathing-narcissist. His material talks about the sadness and senselessness that you can see in the eyes of the people who are walking the streets of Berlin. He shuns them with their mirror reflection and shows them through his rigid cynicism that they are drug addicted, partying zombies with no sense or direction in life. After a half year of live impromptu street performances and after an incredible feedback from observers that was translated even into a documentary film about his life, he has joined the elite club of neurotic Jewish comedians. Like Larry David on mushrooms.  Todd is currently based at the Greenhouse Berlin where he takes his cynism and discontentment to the next level.

Collective Octavibes 

About the collective Octavibes:

As a collective, Octavibes seeks to be a platform where creative people can work, exchange and mix their arts and passions together. Our desire is to promote all the young and talented artist out there in Berlin; by giving them a free space of expression to flourish, and to connect their art to the public. There is no limit to the Octavibes imagination and everyone is invited to embark on this wondrous adventure.

Many Techno events don't have enough interaction with the arts; by fusing art and music together we feel that a firm connection to every participant can be created. 

It is our belief that this combination of all the arts and achieving individual harmony is the key to successful parties. Along with establishing a sound and compelling identity. This fusion of arts is reflected in our name; an octave, in music is perceived to be the perfect interval between certain notes. A gradual increase in energy and atmosphere is pivotal in our party structure.

Firstly, the perfect progression of music styles: We never fail to remember the origins of music and feel our aim is to share this vision with the crowd. There are a lot of various styles and genres out there that must be discovered. Octavibes pays great attention to the details when curating our line-up. We involve DJ's and music producers from extremely contrasting horizons who love to explore the world through their melodies and beats. 

Secondly, the arts; by giving a party an artistic touch, the crowd can take an inspirational break. We want to generate an atmosphere where people can interact with something other than dancing and drinking. It can be decoration pieces, visual arts or conceptual rooms that will complete the adventure of a night out.

Marco, Anso and Antoine had the idea for Octavibes during a long after party conversation in 2015. The three of us have a passion for music and parties. By engaging in this world we will develop and realize our own unique concepts and ideas.

Unser Wunsch ist es, talentierte junge Künstler aus Berlin zu fördern. Wir bieten ihnen dafür freien Raum und viel Platz, um ihrer Kunst Ausdruck zu verschaffen und sie der Öffentlichkeit zu präsentieren. Viele Techno Events haben keinen Bezug zur Kunst. Wir glauben jedoch daran, dass mit der Fusion von Kunst und Musik eine enge Verbundenheit zu den Besuchern geschaffen werden kann. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass die Verbindung von verschiedenen Kunstrichtungen und das Gestalten individueller Harmonien der Schlüssel zu erfolgreichen Parties ist. Unser Name „Oktave“ spiegelt die Fusion der verschiedenen Künste wieder. In der Musik wird sie als der perfekte Intervall zwischen verschiedenen Noten definiert. Eine schrittweise Steigerung der Energien und der Atmosphäre ist von großer Wichtigkeit für die Struktur unserer Party.

Erstens, die perfekte Progression der Musikrichtungen: wir erinnern uns stets an die Ursprünge der Musik und haben uns daher zum Ziel gesetzt, diese Vision mit dem Publikum zu teilen. Es gibt viele Musikstile und Genres, die es zu entdecken gilt. Octavibes hat stets auch die kleinen Details im Blick, wenn es um das Zusammenstellen von unserem Line-Up geht. Wir präsentieren DJ’s und Musikproduzenten mit unterschiedlichen und extrem gegensätzlichen Hintergründen, die es lieben, die Welt mit Hilfe von Melodien und Beats zu entdecken. 

An zweiter Stelle, die Kunst: versieht man eine Party mit Kunst, gibt man dem Publikum die Gelegenheit, eine kleine inspirierende Pause einzulegen. Wir möchten eine Atmosphäre schaffen in der die Besucher eine Pause vom tanzen und trinken machen. Bei Octavibes kann alles von dekorativen Objekten bis hin zu visueller Kunst und Konzepträumen ausgestellt werden- all das, was das Erlebnis eines nächtlichen Abenteuers abrundet.

Holly Jade O'Leary

Holly is an international writer, artist, performance artist, singer, stylist and art director, and co founder of The Jewelled Moon Theatre company.

She holds BA (Hons) Music Industry Management, and also studied Devising Theatre and Performance at LISPA. She was trained by Melanie Wilson (Central St. Martin’s) at Prangsta Costumiers, London’s leading cult costume and entertainment boutique as head stylist and manager from 2008 - 2013. 

She is a freelance creative, co founder of The Jewelled Moon Theatre Company, and has managed her own theatre company and entertainment productions in Berlin and London since 2013. 

She has 9 years industry experience, past clients include Viona Art Studio, Home House, Vout-O-Reenes, Kate Moss, Pearl Lowe, Richard Branson, Rob da Bank, Anna Friel, Rhys Ifans, Danny Goffey, La Shark, Florence and the Machine, Charlotte Church, Shakespeare’s Globe, White Mischief, Bestival, BBC1 and 2, Monkey Kingdom Productions and more. She has a keen interest in sustainability, animal welfare, philosophy and environmentalism which echoes through her work.

  Her next event and exhibition is titled 'Joie de Vivre' on 3rd December 2016, at Library, a private members' club in Covent Garden, London: www.lib-rary.  'The Fairy Emporium' is a luxury couture collection - Corseting, reworking of vintage textiles, an abundance of crystals, gemstones layered like stardust, distressed velvet, antique lace, hand bead work, textile art, and dying techniques combine with contemporary appeal.

 This will be accessorised by emerging independent designer Lily Flo Jewellery - responsibly sourced, delicate fine jewellery.

  The evening's entertainments include The Jewelled Moon Theatre Company presenting 'Zeigfeld Folies' inspired living tableaux, magic, and live music, and 'The Story of the Fairy Foxes with WIngs of the Night Mists' an avant garde Ugandan fairytale... 

Holly is a music and cultural editor for various publications including Vice imprint Local Suicide, and a guest editor & radio presenter for I_NeedRadio. In 2017  she will explore depictions of the Fairy Queen throughout history in a collaboration with classical composer Dario Chillemi (also an artist that is based in the Greenhouse Berlin) on ‘A Bridge to the Past’, and work on a new production of 'The Muses of Ourania' which debuted at Schloss Heinrichhorst Castle, 2015.  She is recording an album with blues musician Sergei Kurek, also based at Greenhouse Berlin.

  Her art direction combines classical elements, an indepth knowledge of period and vintage styling with a visionary imagination, and cutting edge contemporary knowledge of trends and brand communication. She sensitively facilitate the wildest dreams of her clients; liasing between the backline production, the concept and the audience, to cohesive and vivid effect.

An-Tonic

Biography:

Anton's mother was a hairstylist for special events. His amazing mother, his first and widest exposure to jazz, and disco, gospel and p-funk, would occasionally take him to various music functions.

At the age of seven, the young Anton got his first taste of music: Parliament Funkadelic! He didn't have any idea that a certain meeting that occurred that night would later influence his career. He met the living legend Doctor Funkenstein himself, George Clinton, and had the amazing fortune to encounter a shining star wearing rhinestone studded glasses who plays a star designed bass and is known by the name Bootzilla. Anton drifted into working as an extra for films such as „Invasion of USA“ with Chuck Norris and then in a   film called „School DayZ“, a Spike Lee Joint production called „Do the right thing“. He then landed on a planet with the legendary James Bond known as the „007“ of his time, Roger Moore. Somehow, reuniting with another Parliament member, he was always inspired by his personal experience with The Funk and continued on the path of making music.

Anton had already started travelling and was recruited by Curtys Sliwa from the New York Guardian Angels. Anton became a national recruiter and assembled the toughest good people in NY. These fine people were known as vigilantes with no guns, fighting street crime of the times and were deemed „The Boy Scout Marines of the Neighbourhood Streets“ by the media. Anton's hand-picked squad worked around the clock from 11 at night until 6 in the morning. The patrol was "Clock Rock Passing Through by Night Patrol". Anton found time to pursue his love of music and collaborated with and was featured in open jam sessions with musicians such as Bobby McFerrin, Funkadelics, Terminator X (Public Enemy), Bob Cat (LL Cool J) and then branched out into house music.

The never satisfied Anton wasn't content with being a part of the act but wanted to be in the studio and at the heart of the act himself. He appeared in European stage performances with Grace Jones and Amp Fiddler, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins and other famed artists as DJ Foxxx. After landing with the Mother Ship in Germany, and travelling through Europe, a new inspiration led to collaboration with Bootsy Collins in 1999. His music found a voice. The former DJ Foxxx (as the artist An-tonic was known at that time) was inspired by Cashmere known as Green Velvet, Derek Carter, Masters at Work, and the legendary Franky Knuckles. By 2000 Bootsy had re-christened DJ Foxxx into a vocalist of the spoken word in house music now and forever known as „An-tonic“. An-tonic then began collaboration with some local producers and talented DJs boosting chemistry with The Bongoloverz which led to several successful LPs and a further project with Andy Holder called The Pleasure Dome.

An-tonic has collaborated with Jamie Anderson with „Freerider“. He has also worked with Dean Sanders from Metro Groove. There is currently one release „Sunshine Get-down“ and there are more yet to come. An-tonic is now working with a wide variety of talented producers to provide the vibe for all vocal-house lovers.

An-tonic continues to honor his roots by getting back into the DJ booth. Stay tuned!

Tanja Topolovec

TT accessory line is the fusion of different fields where designer is exploring her talents, such as multimedia, sculpture or textile design. As perfectionist, designer’s eternal statement is to demand the multi-purpose of designs, and its different dimensions. So, it’s not just about the garment, hat or necklace and its determined form. The story of TT is the story of experiment atypical from ordinary fashion story that has just interest in wearable. It’s the story of sleepless nights and requirements to go beyond the personal limits and established rules in designing.

It’s also the story of surprises, since it usually begins on vague mornings on flea markets where designer is wandering for treasure pieces that are enough flawless to turn into faith’art. It’s the story where additional efforts to supply materials that will fit into philosophy of fair and guilt-free fashion, is far away from burden. It’s the story of uncountable hours spent in applying feathers, furs or embroidering hundreds of beads. It’s the story where magic creates reality from vision. Tanja Topolovec designer and author of this unusual headdresses and body jewelery, originally from Croatia, 2003. graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in the department of design. She exhibited in numerous galleries in Croatia and abroad, organized several group exhibitions, festivals and is a co-establisher of two ngo associations in Croatia. 

She moved to Zagreb, and started to work with several art collectives through multimedia performances and events. Participates in art colonies, seminars and programs mansions (Croatia, Austria, Netherlands, Turkey, United States, Brasil). She has worked as a designer for one of the biggest Croatian fashion industry Magma and MIT graphic-studio and 2011. runs its own brand TT. 2014. she moved to Amsterdam.

She has participated in Amsterdam POP-up week and exposed at Gallery 5&33 in Art'otel. 

From 2015. she is working in Berlin and based in our Greenhouse Berlin.

Yagama is an artist who works in a large variety of media, including video and film, painting and set design. She has been living in Berlin for the past several years.

One of Yagama's latest projects, which she is working on in Greenhouse Berlin, is the "Little Death" painting series. She is also the Director and Producer of the ongoing film project APPETITE and Producer and Production and Costume Designer in the recent short musical film "Eat Me!," directed by her sister Ilina Perianova. Yagama believes in the transformational and healing power of art and strives to create work that inspires change. She has presented her work at exhibitions, festivals and other events around the world.

Pavel Necekal

A photographer from the Czech Republic, Pavel is currently living in Berlin and is based in the Greenhouse Berlin. 

He has been shooting for over 12 years, working on his own unique style. He is very heavily affected by motion pictures and tells stories through his pictures.  Although he doesn’t have much of a technical background, he is very efficient in post-production.  He strives to show scene as he sees it, not as it really is.  He’s currently standing somewhere between art and commercial imagery.  So far he has had only one exhibition, in which all the prints were unfortunately stolen - he says of this: “Really because of that, I can call it success.”

Kuba Gudz

Born on 15.11.1992 in Poznan, Poland. Since 2011 lives in Berlin, Germany. Graduated from the Jazz Institut Berlin in the year 2016, where he studied with John Hollenbeck, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Weniger and many other world class musicians.

He's a member of a jazz hip-hop group The Green House Expansion, along with a Grammy nominated piano player Joel Holmes (also based in Greenhouse Berlin) and a world renowned MC Stimulus.

Kuba has been featured on recording sessions and performances all around Europe with Logan Richardson, Riccardo Del Fra, Andreas Lang, Wanja Slavin, Peter Weniger, Elias Stemeseder and many others. In the year 2012 he released an album with a polish modern jazz group Tone Raw, that has been critically acclaimed in Poland and Germany, where the band has also been extensively touring.

He won several prizes at competitions for improvising musicians like Saarbrucken HfM Jazzpreis, Jazz nad Odra, Novum Jazz Festival, Legnica Drum Battle, RCK Pro Jazz Festival.

 Big-Motha | Nella AGUESSY                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Big-Motha is more a concept than a photographer. With a 'lifestyle" spirit, Big-Motha highlights in a subtle way the unexpected blink, smile, move and beauty of the street. Bigmouth's mastermind is Nella Aguessy, a french self-educated film camera photographer. 

This creative 26 years old woman traveled since she was 4 years old. She traveled extensively throughout Africa, USA and Europe. After a Bachelor's degree in Politics Science in France she pursued her studies with a Master degree in Marketing Management. Her appeal for art institution management led her to experiences in artistic projects in Paris and New-York (Keith Haring Exhibition, Pop up event at the MoMA, Paris Photo, Rectum Tabula exhibition). Moreover,she decided to dedicate her life and nurture her art. She studied Art History and started to stroll to modern and contemporary art exhibitions. Inspired by the underground art sphere, Nella took a spontaneous decision to fly to Berlin. One of her "best choices" in life. She currently works on new artworks and collaborations with artists from the Greenhouse Berlin , "PORTRAITS OF INPIRATION" will be her next series of photography.

Shamari Rockca

Shamari Rockca is the lead singer for the band “The Optikonz”. He is an American artist who has been in Berlin since 2011 who has performed in Berlin, Copenhagen and Denmark for the past 4 years.  During 2013, he took a break from Europe and did a series of small tours back in California and New York

  Shamari and his band claim to represent a new genre called Future Soul and Space Funk. They are currently are playing many festivals in Berlin all through the summer months of 2016 to support the release of their new EP: “Optikonz Entitled”.  They have also produced several more EPs coming out soon.

  They were recently featured on AirFM radio in Amsterdam, Netherlands on February 1, 2016 in their talent broadcast #2 slot.

  The Optikonz are currently searching for a booking agent to work with for their shows.  The band plays regularly at Greenhouse Berlin and Künstlerhaus Parkstrasse Berlin.

Uriel Kramer is a self described “Middle Eastern Looping Musician” who is now working from a studio in Greenhouse Berlin.

Originally from Jerusalem, Israel, Uriel plays Middle-eastern and World music, looped with his Guitar and Keyboard along very Holy beats.

“Growing up in the middle-east is what brought me to infuse acoustics with electronics, instrumental with computer and east with west.

From the winds of the desert to the urban jungle, my music and myself are absorbed with them all.

My music is aiming to touch your heart, and for move your ass, so when I see happy-smiling people dancing to my music – I become that thing I’m supposed to be”.

Milan Moira

Ist ein 20 jahre alter künstler mit atelier in Berlin. Cecilia Kreuzberger (aka Kittiecatflash) is an innovative trash artist from Austria and Sweden, now based in Greenhouse Berlin.
