OK but what if BatArrow wasn't played like a crack ship and was actually taken seriously? What if the two people in the DCU that are mirrors of each other and literally designed as such were to look at each other and see how they make each other better in some ways and worse in others and work together to make something whole? What if Bruce was able to wholeheartedly trust someone with all of himself as Bruce Wayne and all of himself as Batman because Oliver Queen and and as Green Arrow is walking the same road in different shoes? What if Oliver Queen were taken seriously by someone who understands what he went through with losing his parents and the company going insane and vice versa for Bruce Wayne? What if Oliver Queen, who is actually canonically so insanely marriage-pilled and desperately wants to start a family, were paired with someone who has and/or would also start a family whether Ollie or any other romantic interest were present or not? What if Bruce Wayne were to get someone who could be infuriated on his behalf that he thinks the only way to keep himself safe as Batman is to make himself stupid when Oliver knows exactly how dangerous stupid can be? What if Oliver was allowed to be DPS to Bruce's Tank? What if it were taken seriously because I'm literally so serious there is better than crack in this.
