Origins: has marinette reclaiming her seat be symbolic of marinette no longer taking things sitting down, and moving forward with a new friend who supports and agrees with her ideals

Chameleon: said friend makes marinette sit somewhere else without asking and makes her looks bad for wanting it back

Am I in the fucking twilight zone. Can the show make up its mind of if this class actually has marinettes back or not. Why is Alya rude and blind when it comes to Lila?? What about-

There’s actually a simple explanation for why the class is being so mean to Marinette in the newest trailer despite nigh universally adoring her for the past two seasons. 

No, seriously, that’s the only explanation. 

The writers of this show don’t care about continuity, character, or consistency. Character relationship development can and will be reset at the drop of the hat to create cheap teen drama. 

Best friends will turn on each other with no provocation, previous character development will be undone to create more ~tension~ and the plot as we know it will never advance because, frankly, it’s easier to keep churning out these amateur fanfiction plots than it is to create meaningful character driven stories. 

Why did Adrien go back to being a salty brat despite gracefully accepting Ladybug’s rejection earlier?

Why does the whole class side with Lila over Marinette despite knowing the latter for only a handful of days?

Why does Chloe ping pong between redemption and increased selfishness depending on the weather/day of the week?

Seriously, if you want good character driven stories involving these characters, Ao3 has a wealth of them. Which is a good thing, because the showrunners have made it clear that they are only interested in creating cheap one-off plots that have no overarching meaning in the scheme of things.

When Marinette meets Pollen, does she react how Canon!Marinette did when meeting Tikki and freak out? Or is her reaction calmer (because she has some idea of what miraculous are, since akumas are always hellbent on stealing them from Scarlet and Chat)?

Magic has definitely become a jaded subject in Paris, because akuma are still terrifying but increasingly common.

Loving the Kwami swap au. I love Adrien being so Done with everything. I can imagine how everyone is reacting to this. I imagine scarlet lady only fighting when she sees or thinks Adrien is in danger. Like with Jackady. So how would Jackady/Simonsays play out?

Well, Chloe wouldn’t get invited to the show by Nino, but I can see her tuning in because “Adrikins will be there!” But that also means it’ll take a while for her to get there. But Marinette wouldn’t be grounded because either she’d not be a hero yet or she’s only just be starting out as one, so that puts her there too.

Scarlet Lady forcing her way onto Adrien, shoving Marinette and Nino out of the way, and demanding to be let into the Agreste Mansion of course has hilarious possibility, as well as this being the first time Gabriel (hawkmoth) actually gets to know Scarlet Lady in person. 

And he’s not impressed.

Um... @zoe-oneesama ... If I may posit a headcanon... If this is too early for Marigold to be active, then Marinette would still have that natural fear of Akuma that she has at the start. She may end up being extra clingy with Adrien for a few minutes, and Gabe may notice that his son is blushing hard, but holding his back straight with a very 'I will protect you!' attitude, while Nino elbows him gently to tease. And one of Gabe's eyebrows starts rising an rising as he realises 'girl... His son... Girl... His son..... Hmmmmmmmm', and decides this Marinette girl is worth looking into, because his son has a Crush and it must be monitored. And he likes what he finds, becoming a shipper-on-deck in this Au?

perhaps for Riposte, instead of Marinette witnessing the end of the duel, it's Chloe and ofc she chooses Adrien as the winner. It depends on whether or not Marigold is active, which according to ur mini comic, she is. Idk how Marinette would choose the winner in this au bc in canon, her crush kinda makes the choice lean Adrien's way. If she chooses Kagami bc she's more unbiased, then Chloe could be the reason Kagami is akumatized thru her usual self

Perhaps instead of choosing a winner, Marinette starts flat out with “I don’t know who won, I’m still new at this.” And then Chloe can swoop in and be her usual bleh self, which Adrien does not appreciate.

Kagami: “Your friend saw it differently.”

Adrien: “Gross she’s not my friend.”

Now we have an episode of Adrien trying not to get stabbed, Scarlet Lady trying to get physical with Adrien to ‘save him’, and Marigold trying not to loose her shit because Jesus PRIORITIES SCARLET

Hi! I love Scarlet Lady au sooo much. Since their partnership is so important to Marinette in canon (always appreciates and trusts Chat etc) I imagine she'd be really mad at Scarlet after their first akuma fight together, like "how can you treat your partner like that?! He almost died there and you did nothing! It's your responsibility to support him!" Scarlet: "Naah Chat is good he's really lucky for a black cat" Marigold: "omfg this bitch"

Marigold: “I’ll strangle her with her own dumb ponytail.“

On the subject of Adrien having constant bags under his eyes, and a grumpy attitude, from having to deal with Akumas himself and Scarlet's attitude, I can see his friends nicknaming him 'grumpy panda'.
