CANON DIVERGENCE 

Oliver remained single after the events of season 4 of Arrow and remains custody of William after the events of season 7.

At the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths, Oliver was rewarded for his sacrifice by being restored to the world he began to build after defeating the Anti-Monitor.

He now lives in the Queen Mansion with his mother, sister, soon to be brother in law, and son.

He remains the Green Arrow and is employed as an ARGUS consultant while preparing to take over Queen Industries when Moira retires.

He is also the current leader and one of the founding members of the Justice League.

i love that Sara and Ray both heard, "this is Star City in 2046" but still assumed that the Green Arrow was Oliver. they both went "yeah, I'd believe a 59 yo Oliver is stubborn enough to still be swinging around in leather with the creakiest of knees"

The story sounded fairly normal when she began; a simple date between the girls that shouldn’t have spawned her desire to find an outlet for her feelings. Then she mentioned a guy that tried talking to Sara while she was away and that explained it. Though how Oliver was going to explain that she did, in fact, overreact without making the situation worse.

“You know Sara’s only got eyes for one person,” that seemed like an easy way to begin, “and if he backed off, he absolutely got the message.”

“I know. Which was why I was never worried about Sara.” It was the boy who had been her concern. Which was why it was the boy who ended up in the Glades. 

“Would you have gotten the message…” And think carefully about that answer, Oliver. She DOES know all about your history with Coco’s mom and Di and Ollie’s mom.

He wouldn’t exactly compare the situation between himself, Sara, and Laurel to the current situation with Juliet, Sara Diggle, and the boy Juliet had left naked in the Glades. Both situations, before the Gambit and before Connor was born were both vastly different.

If he were to compare that scenario to anything from his past, it would be the situation with William’s mom. Or Adrian Chase’s girlfriend.
