These are my Dragon scale crochet gloves! I made them with a tutorial off of youtube, but I modified it to suit my taste better. The rainbow colours are my favourite part, it feels so magical.

The Essence Of Me

The Essence Of Me is now up on youtube.

The Essence Of Me is a poem about how I need to use my voice.

I'm not much of a social person. Speaking to people is scary. But I am an artist and I love to create. But sometimes my creations doesn't get much attention.

Because just creating things doesn't work. That artwork needs to be showcased. My voice is not going to be heard if I don't speak. And when I do speak, I need to loud and clear.

The video shows my story. Of how I would hide away, and then I realised I need to be bold. Of course I'm not that bold or outspoken yet. That's not going to be achieved overnight. But, I'm slowly making my way there.

Cats and Keys

Let me tell a tale,

Of a small township.

A tale of men who fail,

And something they let slip.

There once was a woman,

As beautiful as can be.

Each man made it a mission,

To be with she.

Then she gave a dare,

For they didn't give her peace.

She said aloud, " I declare,

Open my door with my keys,

"And I shall be yours.

The key is on my cat,

Around the neck of hers.

Good luck with that."

So many tried,

But they couldn't do it.

They had been denied,

By the cat with wit.

Some made an attempt,

To catch and trap her.

They had to accept,

She was way smarter.

I had a thought,

What if I befriended,

Unlike those who fought.

No cat apprehended.

I sat, silent and still,

A few feet away.

The cat seemed chill,

And willing to play.

Little sweet-meat,

Blinked her little eyes.

I left her a treat,

And said my goodbyes.

Next day I came,

With treats and a toy.

Played a little game.

We really did enjoy.

Bit by miniscule bit,

I gained her trust.

On my lap, she would sit,

While I patted off the dust.

We would talk.

I mean, I did.

I forgot the door lock,

In favour of the kid.

Cute little kitty,

Dropped her key.

Smart, small, witty.

Friendship was the fee.

Then in just a blink,

The maiden in place instead.

To my knees I sink.

"I am yours," she said.

The maiden was the cat,

She could shapeshift.

Now wonder that cat,

Was so smart and swift.

"I am yours," she said,

"For you seeked my friendship,

Not my hand to wed.

You gave true companionship.

And that was what I sought.

Not the childish ways,

Of the men who fought,

For the rest of my days."

So, I won the maiden,

With the heart of gold.

So we wed in the garden,

Right before the cold.

And we live happy,

Happy and sappy,

With the key to the door,

With both of us forevermore.
