But second half of season 2 and onwards? absolutely wild. concept of "good" guy and "bad" guy out the window. Two main men absolutely and ferally obsessed with one another, corrupting each other, waxing poetically and philosophically at one another, courting one another with gruesome murder trophies, attempting to murder each other (affectionately), running away to Europe together, killing together, killing FOR each other, the sexiest evil outfit glow up to ever exist, achilles and patroclus parallels, hand and face touches to rival period dramas... how did we get so lucky
