"Okay, I don’t get it. What is the point of flirting if it’s not building up to anything? I’m a teenage girl. I have needs."
"Here's an idea... Don't flirt..?"
Thanks, Mom
for leaving me in the middle of nowhere.
This is the middle of nowhere.
Biting his lips to keep a laugh from escaping, Erik raised an eyebrow. “I can see that.”
Greyson just looked at Erik for a couple of minutes before speaking four little words, "Can I help you?" He asked and gripped his shirt.
Erik was sitting at one of the tables in the cafeteria off to the side where he was not noticed. Students weren’t usually allowed in the area after light hours, so he figured it would be a good place to look over some Intel he had pulled on some of the students. When he heard a door open, his head jerked up and followed Greyson to the window. Smirking, Erik stood from the table quietly and walked up behind him. “Whacha got there?” he whispered, hoping to scare the boy.
While Greyson was eating his cereal, he heard a voice and it caused him to jump and drop his bowl onto the floor which shattered as they met. Greyson held the spoon in his hand as he looked around until he saw the male, "I uhm.. I was eating some cereal."
Greyson walked into the cafeteria for a midnight snack and all he was craving was some cereal. he didn't care what kind it was, but he just wanted some. Greyson made a bowl of cheerio's and then walked towards the window and just looked out it.
"Do I look okay?"
"I uhm.. I don't know. Everything isn't always as it seems..."
Florence ignored him and pulled her blanket around herself before curling up on a chair in the rec room.
"Hey.. A-Are you o-okay..?"
"Good feeling’s gone…" She sighed, feeling her moods, once again sinking lower.
Greyson just looked at her as he bit his lip.
"Anyone know where I can find a knife? Or a scalpel… Something?"
"What do you need it for..?"
After swearing he heard a few footsteps, Raphael turned around— raising an eyebrow at the boy. ”Did I mention you’re really fucking creepy?” He asked, wondering in his head why the boy was here. Clearly, something messed with his head in the wrong way.
Greyson stopped when the male did and looked down as he played with his hands, "I-I'm s-sorry.. I uhm.." He wasn't able to really talk.
"This place is getting too dull for my taste… You. Me. We’re doing something. Let’s go."
Greyson just stared at the woman while deciding whether he should follow her or not.
Raphael opened his mouth to make another snarky comment before shaking his head— chuckling at even the idea of entertaining the odd silence the boy held. ”Not even worth it.” He decided, pulling the straps of his bags back over his shoulders and heading in the other direction.
Greyson heard the male and then turned around to watch him leave. Greyson got up and followed him from a safe distance and observed him.
This isn't bad..
Jaclyn smiled, nodding. "I don’t exactly know my way around here and you must seeing you know all the great hiding spots." He must be nervous, a voice said quietly in her head. He had no reason to be nervous, she was just a regular person in this school for an odd reason. But, he seemed nice and Jaclyn would stick with him.
"Well that kind of what uhm happens when you just walk around the entire day and do nothing else." Greyson nodded slightly as he smiled a tiny bit, "I do. It's where I write."
Raphael glanced to the boy— dropping his bags with a dull thud. ”Are the rest of the kids around here this fucking creepy?” He asked, conveying how annoyed he already was with the boy’s presence in his tone.
Greyson was used to the mean remarks. He knew that he was sort of creepy, but he wasn't the best at socializing and he didn't care. He just slumped down in the couch and sighed softly, crossing his arms, just thinking.
This isn't bad..
There was something weird about him, Jaclyn was never too focused on boys other than nursery school crushes but he was cute. She wanted to laugh at his obvious nervous disposition but she just continued to smile. "I guess I’ll just have to find my room on my own." She said to him again, moving to pull a stray piece of paper from her back pocket.
The more she smiled, the more nervous Greyson became. He wanted to help her to her room, but he wasn't sure if he should or not. "I uhm.. Maybe I could uhm.. Help you out..?" He said nervously as he looked at her pulling out the paper. He didn't want her to leave so fast. He wanted to talk to her. There was something different about her.
This isn't bad..
Judging by his stance, he didn’t want Jaclyn to see him; it made her be a bit cautious but he looked relatively normal. "You don’t have to hide, I don’t bite." She called out then toward him, letting her bag fall into the crook of her arm as she continued to smile at him.
That smile she gave him. It was one of the best smiles he had er seen in his life before. He couldn't help but get butterflies in his stomach every time he looked at the smile. "I uhm.." He said softly as he kept most of his body hidden behind the post. Greyson slowly slid himself out from cover and played with his hands in front of him, not really sure of what to say to her.
This isn't bad..
As Jaclyn started to walk toward the steps, she could almost sense eyes on her. It was a normal feeling for her since that night, everyone seemed to stare at her oddly; wondering how she could do it. Stopping suddenly, she hitched her bag onto her shoulder as she glanced around. Her eyes set on a boy that was leaned against one of the posts, lifting her hand; she waved toward him as she smiled.
Greyson watched the girls steps as she looked around and then put her bag on her shoulder. Once his eyes met with hers, he panicked. She saw him. He didn't want her to, but there was nothing he could do about it now. Shyly, he gave a soft wave to her as he smirked a tiny bit. He felt like an idiot, because most of his body was still hidden behind the post.
