13) Favorite fic from another author?

Ok so my all-time favorite Rizzoli and Isles fic from back in the day is a super popular one called The Commitment by AnExhibition. It makes me... feel things. The writing is so simple and sumptuous and evocative. Jane and Maura feel like adults and the dialogue just rings true. Not just to them but to real people in general. It's so fucking good I reread it like every six months.

My favorite current/in-progress Rizzoli and Isles fic is Her Crumbling Preservation by @colossalsharks . It's like one of the sexiest things I've ever read. The way Jane is in this fic... Sicilian. Just extra, extra, Sicilian. She's so fine 😭 And it's pretty rare (at least in my opinion) that R&I fic writers get that aspect of her culture just right, but this fic does. And Maura is so ✨spicy✨ it hurts. In the best way.
