A few updates on the “Absolutely Anything — Splashtail & Curfeather” MAP :
- The MAP Discord server is all set up (Thanks to the help of my lovely Co-hosts, Cynth & Rook!)
- The Storyboard is STILL under construction. I know that I have said that it was fully refined, but looking back at it, it needs a little more work!
- Given that I am a first-time MAP hoster, I would not mind some advice if possible! I have come to the possibility that the MAP Call will release around March-May as the school year ends and we enter into summer! I thought about this and figured that it would be the easiest (although I understand the obstacle of finals) time of the year to host a MAP. Again, I would not mind feedback on this!
I literally have no idea why I've never posted my New Prophesy art, but since the graphic novel has gone really wild, I think it's just in time to show this art 🌿🌾
Gonna request the character that reminds me of my grandmother and Mother Gothel: BERRYHEART 💅🏾🔪.
She was annoyingly fun and interesting to read about. I find her relationship with Sunbeam very complex.
I just wish the fandom stopped trying to justify her actions because she was traumatized. Like, sometimes, you just have to let a character be terrible.
And yes, 100% absolutely needs a sneer on her face and the karen hair flip.

I had her drawn already when I received the request, so I fear the little hair tuft she has might not qualify as a karen hair flip... Apologies, anon 😔 She does have a sneer though, so that should count for something?
I personally really like her backstory with Darktail. While her past is in no way a justification for the way she acted, I do like that she had a reason to have those views. It's understandable to be traumatized by Darktail - he harmed many of her loved ones, destroyed her home and community. It makes sense for her to be distrustful of "outsiders" after such experience. Still, she went too far... She was claiming to be such a loyal ShadowClan warrior, and yet she schemed against her leader behind his back? With a RiverClan cat? How does that add up? And yeah, I guess she was doing it all thinking that it was for the good of ShadowClan, but come on...
And her treatment of Fringewhisker and Nightheart? They literally did nothing to wrong her, and she was actively trying to turn the clan against them, humiliate them, even just straight up hurt them. Some of the tasks she came up with were downright dangerous, it's a miracle nobody got seriously injured when completing them. And she came up with an entire new slur to insult them, what the hell Berryheart 😭
In some weird, twisted way, I believe that she did love her kits. But it wasn't the caring, unconditional type of love that every kit deserves from its mother. She was extremely strict and controlling, practically rejecting her children whenever they did something she didn't like, and yet still expecting their support and loyalty. In the end, she sacrificed herself to save Sunbeam, I guess. Sure. But Sunbeam wouldn't even need to be saved if it wasn't for Berryheart's traitorous little games.
But despite all of her crimes, I'm actually not sure if she really deserved the Dark Forest..? I mean, she did terrible things, yeah, but so did a whole bunch of StarClan cats. Mudclaw is a good example. He and Berryheart practically did the very same thing - they conspired against their leader with some RiverClan weirdo, divided their clan, launched an attack on their own clanmates, both thinking that they were doing the right thing... And yet, Mudclaw went to StarClan, while Berryheart was rejected from it and deemed to spend the rest of eternity in hell. Odd.
Anyway, she resembles her mom in shape - stocky and kinda chubby, fluffy with small ears. She has her father's eyes though, and she's a mix of both of her parents in fur color - black and white. Only this one toe on her right paw is black, all the others are white, with pink paw pads. The one visible on the drawing is the only exception.
