WHAT THE HELL IS NEVERSTONE?! On paper, it's a four-book urban fantasy litRPG series published by Aethon Books. In practice, it's wholesomely ultraviolent chaos, and only a litRPG in the sense that "story that's meant to be a parody deconstruction of JRPG tropes" was too long for the "genre" thingy on Amazon.

WHAT KINDA THEMES ARE WE DEALING WITH?! Tearing down abusive power systems, bigotry, mental illness, late capitalism is the real dark lord, and the ways we cope with grief and fear.

TURN THE PLOT INTO A SINGLE SENTENCE OR I'LL SCREAM! A homeless elvish fencer in a malfunctioning JRPG discovers he's the only person legally allowed to kick the ass of Fantasy Liver King; bullshit ensues.

TONE?! Douglas Adams meets Owl House meets Final Fantasy.

WHY SHOULD I READ IT?!

I am telling you to and I control the weather.

LGBTQA+ representation.

At least one car-eating lesbian pirate.

These characters are gonna live rent-free in your head for the next few decades.

The overall message of the series is some chaotic good hopepunk shit that we could all use.

You'll get to know the context behind the phrase "God is dead; there is only crotch-wasp."

Reading this series would upset J.K. Rowling a great deal.

ROMANCE?! M/F, F/F, slow burn, friends to lovers, fluffy as FUCK. (Those who found the execution of Starco and Connverse underwhelming might particularly enjoy this.)

It was first posted back in 2022, written by Grigori Karpin as part of the ABCs of death anthology. I first read it roughly this time last year and it has gone on to become one of my favourite SCPs ever :]

Metaphysician/Karpin 001 Proposal - The Stillborn City

After nearly a year of drafting and re-drafting, here is the strange odyssey of Agent Kennedy as she learns everything one could hope to learn about the Sarkic world. And then more.

Originally a draft by Meta for the 3000 contest, it was never finished. Now, after a year of our collaborating, it is in a new form, almost completely rewritten and yet intended to preserve his original vision.

It's about 15k words, and is one of the most ambitious things I have ever been involved in writing.

Other things he has done while in prison:

He has given gifts to the other inmates for Christmas using the donations people sent his commissary account.

He appears to have attempted to communicate through flashing his cell lights to show his supporters outside that he could hear them cheering for him (this exact light flashing is what inmates at the previous prison did to communicate to the news that they were in support of Luigi, so he may have learned it from them and taken this form of light communication with him to MDC.)

It is rumored he is paying for the other inmates' healthcare using donations to his commissary account.

Inmates who shared time with him at the Penn prison say he 'gave them a voice' when they 'had never had one before' (in reference to the collective shouting 'Free Luigi' the inmates did.

He is writing back to supporters and is alleged to have informed one supporter that he is warm, taken care of, and will be okay. He does not want people to stay up at night worrying about him.
